Sorry - I totally disagree with the putting average being better because of pin placements. Yes... it helps a bit to know the break, but the pros know the break as well on any course. It's about execution and skill. I'd challenge anyone to take 10 balls @ 10 feet in random positions and then from 1 position. Your average would increase only slightly.
