I'm just wondering if this thread has created a record.  Nearly 40 pages of feedback in less than 24 hours.

The fact that WGT has not even commented says it all.

Easy to miss, but WGTadmin2 commented way back on page 14

My bad....Never mind...I'm just glad spring is here so I can play outside...

So anyway, I'm sitting here in my Christina Aguilera series tube socks and Hello Kitty panties (on backwards of course),, getting ready for another exciting day of fake golfing.. The middle of room I sit in near silence with only the warm buzz of the laptop to keep me company.. Have my usual circle of candles lit up around me... 10 candles to be exact,,,,,, 10 fiery symbols of heat in which Ive internally dedicated to the online game I love so dearly,,,,, WGT....

Well, a little off the subject here but each one of these fiery symbols seem to cost me about a buck fitty,,, which also in turn seems to be the same amount that you guys are wanting to charge me now for green fees.. I'll pay your $1.50 fee but I don't know how the f*** you expect me to only play with 9 candles.

    Love,  joN

PS. Is it ok can you guys take the voodoo curse off my account now..? tY :)

Please, can we have CABO DEL CARTOON on the last page instead of on the first?

Give priority to the HD quality courses, CABO is indeed no more then a subtraction...

    Yo Ace, you da man!
I really don't understand why you chose a thread such as this to expose an apparent fragile ego , but , I will take this opportunity to make something very clear about women and the game of golf. From the class room and the junior leagues , from South Korea to Europe and the States, thru the Duramed Futures tour , to the LPGA we are here and here to stay whether you , your buddies and all your ego's like it or whether you don't. Period.

Like it just fine. No ego here. Just thought your previous post was spot-on. Wasn't it? It's just golfese for 'Nice drive.'

    Peace.

Ive just played the CTTH challenge. Good job it was free!!!

I feel very let down by wgt on this, the reason I left tigerwoodsonline.com was because of the great look of the courses on here. Playing that CTTH was like playing tigerwoodsonline again.

Advertising wgt as a free online golf game is now a misinterpretation because we have to pay to play the stroke play option. I for one will never play the stroke play on this as its not worth it, bad cartoon graphics compared with the other courses. If this is what is going to be happening in the future with other courses I will have to make a decision whether to go back to tigerwoodsonline (which I havent played in 6 months but checked it out a few days ago and now they have over 20 different courses).

I would rather wait for new courses on here as long as theyre as good quality as the current ones and free!!! I have spent about $200 on this game since I joined but obvisously thats not enough for wgt !!

On a positive note, thank you wgt on confirming Royal St Georges as a future course and looking forward to Congressional, the CTTH looks great but only if they remain FREE !!!!!

My advice to wgt is to forget this TruGolf thing and concentrate on what they do best......real looking golfcourses, even if we have to wait. Surely 1 or 2 new full courses a year aint too much too ask for!! What about the current wgt courses that are CTTH only, cant we get them as full courses?

    WGTadmin2:

Thanks to everyone for the feedback. As usual we are reading all the feedback and very clearly understand that the TruGolf courses are not HD Photo quality and that green fees are not what you signed up for.  This being said TruGolf has a very high level of quality and the courses are very fun to play.  This was the best solution we could come up with to bring you more courses faster. More courses was the number one request by the players. For those who want more content.. here is a new option and one that enables you to use the same character and equipment you have invested in.

For everyone else we are flattered that you love the HD photo courses so much and we will continue to get them out for you to play for free.  We will continue to work on adding more pin positions and adding other features to increase their play options.

Trugolf is simply a new addition to the overall experience.  WGT will continue to be the best online place to play golf and you will always get free great HD photo courses to play on.

Ive just read this, now if this remains true then ok. But if priority changes to the TruGolf courses I think there will be a mass exodus.

its one thing to charge for playing at cabo, but a nominal fee would be more acceptable to a majority of members.

i feel that 100 credits for 9 holes and 150 credits for 18 holes is way too much.

divide those figures by 10 and it would be more accepable.

but purlees this is just a bit heavy dont you think?

405 posts in a shade under 22 hours.  99% negative

Do you really think it will make a difference?

    WGTadmin:
There’s a new stroke play course on WGT, along with a strategic partnership that will enable WGT to add more new stroke-play courses faster

"along with a strategic partnership..." means that they've already signed the paperwork and mailed the check, so to speak.

It seems as if TruCartoon is here to stay and this forum is just an exercise in pretending to listen.

The only thing that we can do, as consumers, is hit them where they notice it the most and NOT pay to play.

And surely the paperwork provides that this project has to earn out for both parties or get scrapped. Ultimately, if the Scheit courses are kept separate from the real ones, it should not hurt the play for the purists. It just seems to be cheapening WGT's brand. Stay on-message, WGT!

Anyone remember New Coke? All we are saying here is "Give us Coke Classic."

Having played CTTH on the new course, I have to conclude that is is rather bad. The graphics are horrible, and I really hope that no more "cartoon" courses come out of this unfortunate alliance.
