Hi WGT and All,
WOW - a lot of negativity hear lol. I think sometimes we forget what we use to play on before we had such an animal as HD graphics. I enjoyed playing all those PC golf games, the graphics weren't the be all and end all of the game to me.
I've just had a free hit on the CTTH comp, and to be quite honest, I'm going to buck the trend here - I didnt think it was as bad as everyone was making out. As WGT have said, its just another option for people to play, its the individuals decision on whether to pay the green fees or not.
OK - the graphics are not HD, but then I'm more interested in the playability factor, and it seems to play very similar to the existing HD games we have. One thing I noticed - the meter was absolutely perfect.
Whether I'll pay 150 credits for a round, I'm not sure - I doubt it to be honest, thats my call though. But if it makes WGT money, and thats what they need to keep this whole show on the road - then I hope it makes them a ton.
I've been here almost 3 years now, I dont play as much as I use to, other priorities at the minute - however the one thing WGT has above all other games is obviously the great HD graphics. I personally, like a lot of players - am quite happy to play the existing courses, I have a lot to learn and improve on yet. If they can add, one or maybe two HD courses each year - that to my mind would be fantastic, considering the time and cost of putting a course together.
So - it will be interesting to see how the TruGolf goes. I think its going to be very difficult for them, however I wish them all the best with it.
Cheers
Doug
