Has anyone tried to contact Chad Nelson, perhaps through the LinkedIn network to find out if he is even reading any of this "feedback" and/or does he even care what's going on? ;)

You have it right. Playability of this game is not what it is about. More ad revenue, paid sponsorships, and more $$$ out of your pocket is the ONLY concern here. Where are the SHILLS now????

Lose the beta tag......then charge whatever you like. Watch your site disintegrate!

    What twaddle !!!!!!!!

This is a computer game with quite good graphics. The number of posts about other things says what a realisic game this is.    Twaddle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get a life. This is a computer game with no reality to a real game. Just a load of photos to picture the courses and dodgy shot making to guess what you need to do.

The game is make believe so why not make believe courses?

World Golf Tour expands strategically with TruGolf partnership

The expansion will help World Golf Tour more deeply engage its 4 million-strong players on the web. While those aren’t huge numbers for a game, they’re pretty big for golf, and the thing about golf players is they tend to be rich. That’s a good audience for advertisers to target. TruGolf, which spun out from Access Software in 1999, makes realistic online golf simulations in a 3D animated environment.

    all about the $$$$...

Careful, he will probably charge you a fee for contacting him.

My fellow WGT members, ask not what WGT can do for you, but what you can do for WGT, damn sorry wrong speech, time to put the 8 track back in the 63 Impala. I havn't even seen this Cabo thing yet but just sat here and read all 45 pages. I CONCUR with the masses. Noting that a large percentage of the elite players on here are upset, it is obvious that WGT may be heading down the path of no return. It is up to us to stop this run a way train. We all have invested a lot of time and money and we have earned the right to keep our game at the standard we have come to expect. WGT please listen and fix the current problems instead of creating more. Just my take on it.

    Thank You

First I enjoy WGT and have been on the site for almost 2 years now and play pretty much daily.  I probably don't spend as much as others but I do have good clubs and balls.  I played the CTTH and the 9 hole TruGolf course yesterday for the first time.  Frankly I didn't see that much difference in the CTTH and in the 9 holes while it was different it didn't seem that different.  First I have to say that my eyesight isn't great but it appeared to me that the greens were the biggest difference, that might be because so much sand and ocean are in the background.

The meter was much better than on the HD courses.  The course was pretty average, 2 reachable par 5's and one par 4 that was reachable, easy to shoot low 30's on the first time around, I would suggest that 7 to 8 under would be easy after playing it a while.  My issue is the pay for play as much as anything.  The 100 credit for 9 is way too high, that is $1 per round (9 holes) no replays, heck even the Ocean Course in real golf gives you free replays.  If WGT wants a poor imitation, on their own site, well they have it and it costs more which makes little sense.

The WGT business model can not support the HD courses and the cost to bring 2 or 3 on each year.  They have to develop a better model and the revenue generation via a partner that brings a low quality product isn't it.  It is time for WGT to get out of Beta and develop their business plan, $5 a month, $39.95 a year or whatever it is but it is time to move forward.

    What a bunch of babies....

You guys asked for more courses (you didn't say HD) and WGT is introducing a way for that to happen faster..

Now what they need to do is this:

    1. Wait till there's atleast 3 Full 18 hole TruGolf Courses avaiable for stroke play before adding fees.

    2. Once there are atleast 3 then make those 3 free to play (while adding more courses quickly to around 10 to 15).

    3. Now after that THEN add a greens fee to ALL courses in the amount of something like 5cr per 9 holes and 10cr per 18 holes..

    4. Or instead of the pay per play costing roughly $75 a year you could add a yearly option of $50 a year option for those who want to save a little $ and pay up front.

This will make it so that it will roughly cost you (if you play, say 4, 9 holes or 2, 18 holes per day) $6 per month..

which is more than nominal and with well over 100,000 players (which i know is insanely low but im taking into account the 200,000 that will stop playing due to fees) WGT would still be roughly a $7mil company just in greens fees (not counting packs of balls and club upgrades) While still only costing the consumer less than $75 a YEAR which is probably close to what most of you are paying now...

All i asked for was a smooth meter. Overall I enjoy this game a lot....even with the dodgey meter.
