I  paid my 100 credits and got ready for my New WGT Stroke play course.....played the first hole a decided 100 credits was worth paying to find out WGT has lost there way a bit.  It looked terrible played like the golf game on my old phone.

This is the best Golf site on the internet second to none, and thats the reason i play. Cartoon Golf is not for me.

    Never again.

I don't know why they didn't poll us.

    Polls are easily set up.

You should have another poll, asking if you will EVER play that course for a fee.  I, for one, will NEVER pay a greens fee on this site.  I am not even going to play the free CTTH just to protest and take a stand against WGT's ultimate goal of either a membership fee or a pay per play on the current and future HD courses.

It seems to me that WGT has lost sight of it's initial customer premise - which I thought was: very high quality graphics, play  for free with the OPTION of investing in a "career" and competing at higher levels.  But above all any business depends on the trust and support of it's customers.

I think we all understand the need to make money as a company and to that end, no problem with the ads, with buying better balls ongoing, with needing better clubs for higher levels on play.  But THERE IS A LIMIT on what the users will put up with to this end.  It is all about cost to us versus enjoyment level received.  I think the level of negativity you are seeing speaks  to the fact that you have crossed a line and are starting to negatively affect  the basic value proposition for this game.

Personally, I played the CTTH on Cabo and think the course would be a good addition to the game - cartoon or otherwise.  But NOT as a pay to play.  As long as WGT remains committed to adding HD quality courses, putting in Cabo-like courses is fine with me.  Just don't charge us a premium for less quality.

I compare WGTs tactics very similar to what drug dealers do to their customers.  They give you some stuff for free and get you addicted, they do this for a while knowing eventually you are going to crave the "DRUG" and then they know you are hooked and start charging!!

WGT, dealing drugs is ILLEGAL and the same metodology used by drug dealers will not be tolerated by the masses on this site.

I think the real way forward would be to ask the masses....ask the people who are spending the money that keep WGT in business...and if they would listen to us more then the chances are that they will remain in business for a very long time and good luck to them.

maybe WGT can consider this free polling option and set up a more indepth one to gather information about what we'd like to have happen on WGT.

we need to work together.....1/ giving the players what they want and 2/ WGT get the money they need....that in my view is the best way forward..

Now, WGT, while I have a true passion for your extraordinary game, allow me to ask this pointed and disparaging question, as I have just taken a second look at the new TruGolf course (a shameful misnomer) : How on earth can anyone today -- when graphical mastery has become commonplace -- attempt to market such an outdated-looking course (that would only have been considered acceptable 10 years ago), and have the gall to charge for using it, as though it was a competitive and attractive product? I am honestly mind-boggled.
