the number one glaringly obvious point that bemuses me is nothing seems to get done about the meter.
i think we've past the point of blaming users pc's at being the fault because that's complete sh4t....and don't we know it. it ruins the game.
all the hard work seems to be going into developing new courses like congressional and royal st george's etc and i've no doubt it is one helluva long hard job etc.
it's gonna be a right shame and waste of everybody's time when the same meter issues go on and on and on.
even on the capo del bundo ctth i had the odd meter twitch.
it's the engine of this game and should be the first thing that gets fixed else the game will always be a 3 legged horse.
many of the folks i introduced to this game won't even play it now due to the glitches.
i suppose i don't complain about it as much because i've got used to it but that don't mean it shouldn't be fixed.
when you're angling to take more money off folks left right and centre at least give them a polished product.
probably the best way to see the scale of this meter issue would be to have a poll on it.
if WGT was a television or a car we'd take it back to where we bought it and say there was a fault with it and demand it either gets fixed or replaced.....I don't see the difference here because a lot of folks are paying a lot to play this game.
it's no surprise folks are up in arms.....great courses....crap meter. maybe if you fixed it...a lot more folks would remain regular players.
the way it stands for me...i've reached Legend....can't go any higher and could care less about what my average is so might just switch back to unlimited balls after my recent purchase of Callaways run out and save the $350 - $400 I've spent on balls this past 8 or 10 months.
where's the incentive to keep me buying $250 sleeves of balls that last no time at all and get eaten by the meter which screws up good rounds as well as wasting the time I put into the rounds.
sooner or later WGT needs to address this issue....before some other site just as good as here emerges but with a decent meter.
okay...the rant's over and goodnight folks.
