  Lots of forum traffic on this subject so reposing something I wrote in another thread.

  WGT is obviously testing the waters of a new era.  Green fees don't bother me as they have every right to make a profit and customers have the right to come and go as they please.  What is worrisome, is if this is the beginning of the end of HD courses...which is unique and what attracted me here in the first place.  I'd hate to see the forums in 5 years and only the old timers remember how cool it was.

  the only reason I'm here is for the HD courses.

  the moment they go...I go...and my $$$ goes with me.

  I'm not hanging around to play cartoon golf.

  I see where your going with this Joey, and its a good point. I havent a clue what happened with PB, but the other courses are still been touted as free, and coming online soonest. Im thinking that if there was a problem, then maybe the folks at these other courses would have concerns as well. We will know soon enough if the promised courses dont appear as promised.

  I don't know why people are getting so agitated about this development. As long as WGT is still going to produce photographed courses then that's fine. The TruGolf just gives the site more options and a wider choice. 

  I now feel the same way. I was against this in the beginning but as BB said if its making you money and not costing me any without losing what we already had, then good. I also like to treat myself to a round at cabbo now and then. Ya its graphics are lacking but I personally think the course plays quite well.
