BPeterson8256:
I can curve the ball left or right, with or against the wind, and it plays like I expect a draw and fade to play. I can do this with irons and woods equally. It is as simple as that.
Tip for new players: Don't just read about this stuff, or take someones word for it. Go try it yourself.

JFidanza: Scott, can you do it with an iron shot?
No.
I know, as I just spent another half hour trying to curve the ball flight with my IRONS. That's on top of the hours I spent testing this in the past as I've linked the treads in the previous posts.
You cannot draw or fade the irons.
While that is NOT realistic, my guess is due to the common occurrence of players who miss the ding while trying to hit the ding, the resultant unwanted draw or fade would be a deterrent to the game.
I don't necessarily conclude that a realistic draw/fade option of an iron approach would make the game easier, but perhaps harder, requiring more knowledge of real golf (a hard game) -
but I do believe that the main factor that makes this game less difficult is the slowing down of the meter via proshop balls etc. Using cheap balls or the starter ball makes the game more challenging.
In many golf games of the past which don't offer this feature to slow down the meter, the ultimate challenge of those games IMHO is not calculations (which can be deciphered) but the proper execution of the meter hit. (usually a 3 click meter)
But BP if you can record an iron shot w/ a notable curved ball flight (carry) on a legitimate video which records the meter (e.g. bandicam, hypercam) and show the early or late hit (not just a replay) I will offer a free sleeve of balls of your choice.
good luck
