Marty, L58 G25 3w, to go along with a 250y 3w? 235y? High trajectory, slow meter and enough spin? Missed it? ;-)

Those lower level clubs don't have the trajectory of a club in the levels 90-100, I've tried them all that's why I'm making this suggestion

L58 G25s have a high trajectory. I've played with that set for 3 years (until BB came out) and the trajectory is just fine for any 3 wood. Bout the only choice you'll ever get here, I'm afraid ;-( But, then again, there has to be at least some course management necessity left in this game ;-)

look at the stats/attributes on that club, it is not the club a legend would use, the level is too low and the trajectory is not up to scratch, it does not work

i just tested out these clubs in a 3mph neutral crosswind

    250yd 3w - 61%bs is 84ft apex

    232yd 3w - 64% is 85ft apex

    227yd hybrid - 61% is 92ft apex

    225 3iron - 61% is 94ft apex

im not sure if those figures are good for a virtual club, feedback is welcome

just to be clear im only making suggestions, im not a professional golf pro

    @MartyFlanagan

I agree with you that a hybrid that played to 235 yards and had the attributes of clubs in the 90+ levels would be a great club to have. But it would also be great to carry 15 clubs in the bag. ;-)

In other words, it would be at the expense of a wedge. Yes, I understand what was stated earlier in the thread that a person can score well with 2 wedges. But that's not the point.

The point would be which club would be used more often as well as which club is more difficult to substitute for? I think the wedge that one would have to give up would be used more often than the hybrid, and I think the wedge one has to give up would be more difficult to make a club substitution for.

So, even if WGT did offer such a hybrid, I doubt that most players would give up their wedge to have the hybrid in their bag. Still, it is a fair point that players should have the option and not having such a hybrid in the Pro Shop is a deficiency that WGT probably should rectify.

It might be high trajectory but it won't be as high as something a L90+ hybrid would be.

Similar to how the lower level high trajectory irons are not as high as the Vapors ;)

As for it replacing a wedge, there is an option to edit clubs before each round, so you don't get stuck with it if you've equipped it once. And even if you missed it its a lot easier to choke a special wedge or a PW than a 3wd.

to be clear, i dont care what the club is, hybrid or shorter 3w, if its rated 232 or 235yd and has good stats and height id buy it in a heart beat. it could even be a 2 iron or a driving iron

    anything will do
