  WGT didnt really explain why, perhaps they did not need to.

  Well ok, maybe next time the mods ask for some fun and games on here then they may wonder why we dont join in.

  Cos perhaps we dont need to.

  Erm, just checking if you understand, that there are other courses in this game than Kia F9 and St. Andrews. And that match play doesn't come in unlimited mode, nor from the easy tees?

  if you play AB 100 times, you'll lose 99 of them. Cause he's bound to get 1 blue screen disconnect ;-)

  I would also beat you, but only 10/10 times, cause I don't get disconnected and playing 100 rounds would bore me to death. 

  4000 cr MPC, any time, will even play your favourite (unlimited, god knows from what tees) Kia, would love to watch you putt 13 speed greens ;-) Just be careful, I go over 60 on that course once a year and have already filled this year's quota ;-)

  Let me guess, you are a red tee player. You couldn't handle the difficulty or lacked willingness to learn the game enough so to understand how to play the course.

  I dont know if this will help. But any course could be lost in the future. We have Oakmont holes in a course that we built.  They are still on that course what 10 days after it disappeared.

  Perhaps if anyone has the time they could for their own club, build a course of holes from each course currently available.

  This would then it appears still leave clubs with all course's to play, even if taken away by WGT. I have no idea if that would be possible but hey who knows, we are still playing Oakmont holes so it could.

  Just a thought

  Does your CC have a tournament running that started before Oakmont was pulled?  That is the only way any Oakmont holes would still be around.   Our CC also had a custom course with some Oakmont holes included.  Those holes are now gone, and the course will have to be edited before playing another round on it.

  Seems the best results might be achieved by sending personal, politely worded letters, by snail mail, to:

  Oakmont Country Club

  1233 Hulton Rd.

  Oakmont, PA 15139

   

  Describe your heartfelt reasons why you think the course should be put back up on WGT, how having the course available for ordinary mortals to play online is good for Oakmont and good for the game of golf, serves the ideals of the golfing community. Etc.
