    Vaibhav5viv:
That might bring the cut number down by 3-4 shots if it is 30s clock

30 seconds to shoot is not going to scare anybody. If you're shooting low it's because you know your stuff, not because you have all the time in the world to shoot.

What is it, 2,000 credits as part of making the cut?   Imagine if everyone just shot for even par, the top 156 plus ties would have made for a lot or 2K payouts for making the cut.  ;-)

I take 60+ seconds on most approaches and long putts. No way am I winning the US Open, but I have qualified the last couple of years.

Yes.. these guys aren't shooting this good by hitting shots within 30 seconds I guarantee you.  They might still shoot good, but at least 4-6 shots difference at the very least.  It takes time to shoot this good. U have to be perfect and it usually takes more than 1 attempt, even with no time clock.

And you have to take in the account of just having a shot clock present and watching it tick down as you make final adjustments will always be on your mind. I dont see how even the best players wouldn't find themselves getting rushed on the critical shots.

    Just my opinion.

30 seconds is more than enough.

When U play clock tourament U feel the pressure when max time is 12 seconds. Problem is mostly around the green if U have to change from chip to pitch.

    20 seconds is pretty easy.

    30 seconds is enough.

With a ruler U can set the aimer within 4 seconds. Using pitchgrid it might take 7 seconds.

Finding out how much power doesnt take long if U are experienced and do the calc in the head.

Putting: using Tekoma technique and the aimer is set within 5 seconds

Maybe a 30 second clock can eliminate some cheaters

30 seconds would make zip difference to cheating.  Suggesting it would is missing the point of what WGT are looking for from what I know..........OK maybe a few real simpletons..........

It would spoil it for people like me who like to mull, fill up a vape juice tank, vape, phart, burp, scratch, have a beer......:)

Anyone that can't should simply concentrate on doing better...........My opinion

Prediction wise I asked the tea leaves and 57..........I can't see there being a swell of will to push it lower.  Better to be a pundit and advise than to bet I always say:)

    BMX123:

I am sure that WGT will ice the greens in the finals.

WHY had better crank the greens up to ultrafast 40 and play from the tips or else this is going to be 60 under par winning score
