    borntobesting:

It only affects someone's play if they don't really know how to play the game and are looking for something to blame for their poor play/.

    A pretty common nonsense sentence....

Thats not the point, the point is: why we need to see all that FAKE CARTOONISH stuff in the screen?, at the moment i log into my account the ad's start to appears, tellingme ALL the bull$hit available to buy, is that not enough?, we also need see that in game?

NO, its no nessesary, this game in mobiles looks like a chrismas tree, & i personnaly DONT want the same for PC

    Mbarrettwcc:

I have about $200 on this game since May. Overpriced balls that you sometimes simply steal, ridiculous club costs, and on and on. But I still play. NOW you want to force feed me something that messes with the integrity of my screen and gameplay?

You will not get another nickel from me until it goes away. I lived the first 23 years and 5 mo of my life with you, so I am sure I will be fine for the rest.

Its not that bad if playing on the pc version . In fact its hardly noticiable right next to the nation flag on my screen .As for the money spent , well thats your choice as you can play for free . Many others have threatened to end their spending if their demands were`nt met . Nothing changed for them either .

At 23 and 5 months means you were around 13 years old when the game started . So WGT made it for 10 years without you and they wont miss you if you leave . The game may still be jacked up in some ways but this isnt one of them .

In all the posting I've done I've learned to wait--wait for the perfect example of how a silly rant like this is put into perspective. I resisted mocking the OP for the obvious and Lonnie steps up.

Hat's off to ya, Lonnie.  ;-)

p.s., Is it my imagination or does the OP come across as one of those entitled types that stamps her foot and demands thing be her way? Just curious............

Okay, I'll grant you that the original post came off a bit foot-stampy, but Katie (the OP) is a pretty cool chick and she makes a point that I see being made by a ton of people all over the place.

I don't play on mobile very often, but apparently this wand-thingy is annoying the crap out of a ton of people.  Maybe it would be better to acknowledge the problem than to bash those experiencing it?

I suppose that just isnt the way things work, though.

In this thread, there has been plenty of acknowledgment regarding the OP's point.

And, as an aside, while I only recall a few of the OP's previous posts, they do tend to come across a bit on the entitled and whiny side.

Okay, Robert....its hard to argue either point you made.  Both are astute observations.

I would add, however, that while Katie may not have chosen the best vernacular or wording, she is generally a good person.

More importantly though is that, despite acknowledgement of the issue by many players (in this thread and others), WGT seems to be doing their normal disappearing act rather than address it. A simple response stating that they are aware that their customer base is unhappy with this thing and are dealing with it would suffice, yet I see nothing resembling that. (I suppose its possible that such a response has been given and I just don't know about it, but that seems unlikely.)  In my humble and probably misplaced opinion, that is the more important issue here.

And you won't. A response like that would presume that they plan on doing something about it and that ain't happening-it would affect the sales of those silly effects.

If calling out basic injustices and gratuitous money grabs are whiny, then you are 100% correct. I am a also a first class B*t*h! I am tired of WGT sticking it to the people who support them most. If you don't want to spend a nickel, then nothing affects you, but when you want to actually participate and spend the money to have fun, all they want is more more more.

This is a great example of putting a constant advertisement somewhere it doesn't belong, end of story. There are no arguments to the contrary. If affects everything in an unneeded manner. They weren't even smart enough to make it a different color, as it blends with the meter! It is a total whorish move and they need to be called out firmly.

Don't worry WGT, just treat your paying customers like they are teeth. Ignore them, and they will go away.

While I agree that it's absolutely stupid, there's no way that it should affect your play. That's just an excuse.

The blue blends to the meter. I have color separation and minor sight issues. It is absolutely confusing to the eye. I have to adjust my ipad to awkward position to cover it when I finish a swing. Not to mention the flow issues as it pops up every time you apply spin, which is 80% of all shots.

Bottom line, regardless of how anyone feels, is that it doesn't belong.
