  Of course, I am still playing with starter equipment, but I should be just as good as those that have invested $100s of dollars here.

  WGT makes no pretense at being "realistic" — after all, the game is largely predicated on being able to click a mouse at the right time. WGT's "reality" is trying to sell players virtual equipment. I'll keep playing starter clubs & balls and save my money for the REAL game.
