A relatively inexperienced player with beginners gear not being able to play as well as someone with hundreds, if not thousands, of rounds under their belt and the best gear is unrealistic?

So in reality someone new to the game with a set of WalMart specials can become club champion on their first go?

There are players who spend hours a day here, some keeping notes of which shots they played, from which lie and what the result was. They've also spent lots of money getting the best equipment.

And you think it's unfair that they're better than you?  Yeah, right

And please WGT, can anyone mentioning the C word be banned?  And I ain't talking about the one ending in unt.

in a tournament like the Open at St Georges, when the f**king cut line is at 58?? And this site expects me to spend my money on better equipment and entry fees when I don't have a hope in hell of qualifying for any tournaments or winning anything????

Yeah right....everything about this game is realistic...... except the scores on the leaderboard!

I played RSG on the first day it was open to everybody.. my first game was 63 and my second game, I shot a 58. It could have been alot better as a few  birdie chances stopped short. I think they heard me scream with joy down the street that night...lol as it was the first time I cracked the 60.

I remember thinking like that when I first started playing this game. The more games you play  the better you will get,  so don't get discouraged. Low scores like the ones people are shooting now are very gettable, with alot of practice.

    cheers

at the end of the day you'll only get good enough at this game to compete with the best by playing a lot to get the feel of the courses, the greens and the conditions.

i'm off to my bed as it's 3.50 am and i've been playing wgt solidly for 9 or 10 hours. maybe that's a lot of hours compared to some folks but over time if folks put the practise in, they'll be able to pull off shots regularly like the following tough approach into a 31mph crosswind.

    Birdie Time

    Nite Y'all

Since you're so special how about WGT just hands you an entry on a silver platter.  Sounds a lot better than working for it huh??

.. I dont think the issue is about cheating or hand-outs but more to the point the 'unrealistic' scoring that is happening n why its happening....    If WGT sets up harder courses n make scoring 'realistic' they will lose revenue through having the 'Legends' lose their scoring averages of which they protect so damn prudently.. .. .. I say to WGT, make the courses tougher and make PAR a good standard rather than mediocrity.. .. thats reality!

If they made par a good score you would never shoot par. Then you may not come back. The good players are good players. Those people are going to shoot low in any condition! JMO

..  more than happy for the 'good' players to continue doing as there doing, but why at the expense of such ridiculous scores.. .. 'Par' is a great score in the real world n this being such a terrific format it should represent that...

sorry dude but that's complete B-U-L-L-S-H-I-T

how the hell would WGT lose revenue through having Legends lose their scoring averages.....not that they would do in the first instance....as claremoreblue has just said.

the way I see it, the only people squealing like biatches about low scoring are those who fail miserably to do so.....and it's usually them who get pi$$ed off, throw their toys out of the pram and pi$$ off over to tiggerwoods online where life's a lot easier for them.

i for one decided to turn legend because the game at tour master was becoming far too easy and I needed a new challenge off the back pegs.
