My take on Marc receiving gifts is, it is what is. He took charge of Christmas in July this year, which I am sure is a time consuming project and some members, including myself were nice enough to send him some gifts,  which he needed. Now if he received multiple gifts of the same product, (ex: irons), I am sure he will send CS a message explaining what has happened and the credits will be returned to the proper person. As far as the berating of someone in this thread , it's not the proper place to do it. Please take your differences to a PM. This is suppose to be a joyous thread.

Mornin O the 11th day ,  Santa wakes with a hangover after having a " FEW " two many when checking the list of good boys and girls .

The elves were fighting and with squeeky voices the noise didnt help with a hang over !

FRIKIN LITTL BSTDDDDS  ....    WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT  !!!!!!!

Elmer the little helper took a Xtra cookie from the tray .

Santa walks out of the room ,,   runs down the hall to the bathroom .

Due to the hang over Santa had to " Toss "  his cookies .

After a asprin & clean up on isle # 3  Santa went back to fix things .

The elves still at it Santa walks over to the tray of cookies .

Look here at this tray of cookies as he lifts it off the table .

If you want a 2nd cookie take it , just say Please & Thank you is all i ask .

Santa has a need to run back down the hall if you know what we be talking about .

he then drops the tray of cookies by  mistake as the elves watched .

    thinking fast Santa said .

IT WOULD BE EASY IF THERE WERE NO FFFKIN  KOOKIES !

out of the room and down the hall Santa made his way a healthy # 2 was calling .

back in the office Santa sat nursing his hang over thinking still got so much to do .

So with that Santa touched a finger up to his noes , Gave a wink and took a sniff .

and up the chimmey he rose .

    Merry Christmas in July 2018

Oh and not once on this thread have I read an obvious attempt by the OP to con anybody out of anything

    ...

His con is exposed in the Gift of Golf thread where he was begging for an iron set saying: "After giving so much, I do not have any left for myself." But if you look at the Activity on his profile page, he hasn't gifted anything to anyone.

In this thread he made it seem as if he was giving out gifts in order to get free stuff for himself... and it worked!

    Hi CEverett12,

This is my first time seeing this tread, you and The Bushwackers are doing an amazing thing for the WGT community. I am doing something similar where gifts are given out, hosting the "Christmas in July?" event, originated by opyeuclid.

Anyway, I would love to be considered for one of the months in the future. After reaching Legend, I am having a tough time with the equipment that I have. I rent the equipment that I have by doing surveys everyday because funds are low. I would love to just have some equipment that does not expire. After giving so much, I do not have any left for myself. If I could just please ask for the TaylorMade M2 Full Set (L69+). I know I may not get it, but thanks a lot for helping out the WGT community!

    Best Regards,

    Marc (MARCJR35)

I spent a few K in creds gifting someone back a few pages ago whom i was pretty certain was deserving. He replied with his thanks, I am happy with the results of all that and glad I could contribute and help.

With that being said, the more I look closer at things, the uglier this all looks. I cannot just dismiss AKD's statement and I also take note that the person I hold in the highest esteem here on WGT has not commented since his questioning on the opening page of this thread.

Things that make me wonder include:

The OP showing no play or activity until just a few days before starting this thread.

Then shooting a 26 on Kia before all his inferior equipment was replaced. And how do you get a 92% driving percentage and a 66% one putt percentage with such little play over 5 years and no recent activity?

On a 5+year old account and despite the size of this thread and his activity on the Gift of Golf thread, the Op has pretty much no friends, the one exception being an account that looks eerily similar to the OP's and has a multi among the friends on that account.

The OP just a while ago changing the status on his profile page to "retired".

I dunno, just all seems a bit off.

I am finding it difficult to argue. I was so caught up in the kindness that was being showed I failed to see the obvious right in front of me.

As we will probably not see the OP in the near future, there are still a handful of days left.

    Shall we carry on?

As told to me by Dneirf in my messages, I am just going to ignore the situation. "You need to forgive them, for they know not what you are doing." Also, thanks callaghan for your post as well. I've been blessed since I started this thread and received gifts from others as an upgrade from some of my starter equipment. My only hope when starting this thread was to promote positivity and kindness to the WGT community. I am going to end "Christmas in July 2018?" but you guys are happy to keep it going for 3 more days. I just will not continue to hear the berating comments from some of you. I wish you all the best.

Please, can anyone point out to me the way to the Christmas in July 2018.

I seem to have lost my way.

So I can read who is looking for some Santas.

    Have fun all.

    cheers
