Use your driving iron off the tee Tiger. At least you will have a better chance of hitting a FEW fairways.
"It seemed as if" Tiger and Reeds chemistry just wasn't there. Tiger looked bland. Reed thrives on competition and pressure and there was nothing there to push him into that mind set. Tiger barely said 2 words to Reed the entire match.
Sounds as if Im putting it all on Tiger, well, I AM. Tiger had no gas in the tank straight out to the gate. Reed was more than ready to compete but when your partner is barely coexisting and looks as if he was ready for a nap it drags you down.
GOLF IS A MIND GAME. It is absolutely NECESSARY that you and your partner are BOTH ready to compete, BOTH ready to talk strategies while out there, BOTH communicating with each other.
I know we are a looong way out but I mentioned to a friend when the parings were set that having Tiger going out early is a mistake. 42 yrs old. Having him come out fresh later in the day would have definitely made a difference in the way he played.
