I utterly hate #2 at St Andrews

  You are 125 yards away, easy shot whatever the wind, you can deal with the wind with your formula, you got the clubs, you got the best possible friggin ball,you know how to punch, hit full or choke, you are the boss, the green isn' t moving, the ball is stationary and yet............................can you get within a yard of the friggin hole.

  I cannot.

  And so after 100 times playing the cursed thing you are left with some ridiculous putt, like I am now, pin high 13 feet away (left ) and the friggin dots are doing 60 mph right to left.

  I probably 3 putt as normal and be back to level par.

  Holy Moses i hate you to hell #2 at St Andrews.

  try to get your shot to the left of the green and play it shorter than it shows. If it shows 125 yards play it for 120 yds as the hill there will roll your ball down. The shot must land on the beginning of green.

  probably by this you can land closer to the hole.

  Hey Tonto,I used to feel similar myself esp when the ball would stop on top of the hill short of the green, then roll back into the pit of despair.Can't explain it yet now the hole is par at worst.Invite,Hit me up and i'll show you how it is done if you like. Hi Ho Silver away!

  vns Rich,i thought Tonto was referring to the only other hole location WGT has,utto thats another lost ball for me right there.damnit!

  Doode, nice pop. Believe it or not, I nailed a 2 on #2 once meself. Couldn't save 'er though, playing with a chum. But as far as hateful holes go @ SA's, it's the aptly named ol' #13 for me. Ecstatic with a 4 there if the pin is tucked up on the right.

  Nope, don't feel too warm and fuzzy about #11 either. With either pin placement. A bird there is gravy, par is perfectly acceptable.
