Surveys for Credits - STINK

  Being somewhat frugal...I took a survey just now to earn 75 credits. After 20-25 minutes of answer question after question...the screen said, "Sorry. You don't qualify for this one..."

  That STINKS.

  If they're looking for someone specific, why not ask the "most important" questions first?

  Seems like a "bait and switch." Get 99% of what they want and then bail out of giving the credits. Not right.

  Have others had the same problem?

  If you don't qualify for the survey, then all of your answers are discarded. 

  Yes, I've had the same problem, so has anyone else who has tried to earn credits via a survey. They're looking for very specific people to survey, so if you don't qualify then they're not going to let you continue.

  Absolutey. Has happened several times. I did a experiment and answered the way I thought they wanted. I was excepted for the survey and earned the credits.

  Just got a "pleasant" surprise... Did  a survey, at the end they said that part of the finishing the process would be to install a Synovate study to track computing habits.

  1st, NO credits

  2nd, when I realized I was shorted the credits24 hours later, I removed the file they installed, I got an error after it was removed that has translated into my Windows XP having issues with the "automatic updating" program. 

  Have re-installed the updater program, and am still getting errors that pops up and says:

  Older Version of agent installed.

  Visit www.consumer.installsheild.com for more information.

  More than that, my antivirus flagged something that was installed.

  Be careful what you install. My thoughts are that WGT would check out the surveys before allowing them to be presented to their users.

  By the time it took you to do a survey you could have made 30 bucks and the bought credits.

  i have the same problem,,,,,,  spend 20 mins than they say no match   and you dont even get any credits???????  i here ya loud and clear

  Initially it might take you 15 - 20 mins to go through the filter or qualifier. You read every question and with though give accurate answers.

  Eventually you learn the qualifing questions are all the same across the different survey platforms and only need to glance at the question and then give reasonable answers.

   

  Once you have done plenty of them it doesnt take anywhere near that long.

  I regularly do surveys and they fund 90% of my purchases>

  This includes gifting my CC members prizes regularly and my own supply of Callaways.

  I get through and get paid for 85% of the surveys i do.

  Practice will help you get through the surveys quicker, persistence and determination will give you insight into the answers they 'want' to hear that eventually you will learn to 'give' them. So because of this edge you learn, you dont mind the 15% of the time you dont get paid.

  Some of the survey companies don't do themselves any favours. I was doing one for a TV sport channel the other day. It wanted to know which sports I preferred, but rather than just asking that it gave me a list of 30 sports and ask me to number them from one to thirty. I just bailed out.
