Icon mentions sending bug reports, works great as a single but playing SP or MP sending a bug report gets you timed out, and pisses off the people  you are playing with. guess ill have to pay more attention as to where the balls go after you hit them.

    PS still a  'game' right?

Perfect illustration Andyson, thank you very much. Your posts are much appreciated.

P.S. LMBO at your WGT National Enquirer issues. Brilliant stuff!

Yes Andy. That was a legend cally. Oddly enough it's supposed to have a bit more spin AND distance thus providing a higher trajectory and more carry than the non-legend variant. Obviously that was not the case here.

Brilliant illustration Andy. Couldn't be any more clear or evident. FWIW, I was on that hole this morning and hit into an 8mph wind directly into my face and cleared the far edge of the bunker with ease as the full spin & carry was achieved.

Thanks Doc and Allen for your kind words.  Once in a while I'll have a flash of

    mediocrity!  LMAO!

I agree full back spin, even into a headwind, will give more carry with that driver than no spin and top spin.

Ok WGTicon.... i have a replay for you.

http://wgt.com/replay.aspx?ID=420be628-f166-4b67-b92a-9f8e00743a5b if this link does not work, then its the last saved replay on my profile.

This is in a 1000C Ready Go Tourney!!!!!  -4 going into 17 Oak and this crap happens.

Before you blame the headwind, you can easily land on that upper part of fairway with a dinged fullback drive in up to 12-13mph headwinds... this was 9mph.

You can see it was a dinged drive as trajectory is dead straight and on target for a great position to bird the hole.

Watch where the club hits the ball... there is a spray of dust as i hit it, as if it is NOT on a tee.....

I would like a response to this please... this is graphic proof!

ALSO... what happens to my 1000C entry, when a known and clearly demonstrated fault has possibly kept me out of the money???

WGT.... I have possibly FOUND THE PROBLEM!!!

After taking time to view not only my replay, but also Allen63's and jvr86 (no.2 replay of jvr), I have found that every one of these tee shots is leaving a dust cloud behind after the ball is struck.

If you set up a game and look what happens when you tee off, the normal thing to see is the TEE pop out of the ground after you strike the ball.  These replays of the flat drives are all leaving DUST sprays not TEES on the ground.

So the issue may not be lack of backspin being applied, but LACK of ball being on a tee.

Please view these replays WGTicon and get some Tech feedback to us please.

    Stu

P.S Little embarrassing i would think that a builder from Australia took the time and watched all aspects of the replays closely, something you would assume would be the first thing the WGT boys would do. Hmmmmm.

BTW, excuse the sarcasm and pointed comments, i feel i have a right, considering the number of matches and rounds ruined by what seems to be such a simple issue overlooked.

    Hmmm, interesting observation.

To test your theory I went out to BPB #4 where Allen63 took his shot.  I bumped the ball off the tee with a 64 wedge at 20% power.  The replay below shows the ball on the ground.

Most of us know if you land on teeing ground after hitting a tree (CCC #4 for example) or get a drop on the teeing ground after a water shot (Kia 17) the shot looks like its on the ground but behaves as if it were on a tee.

Anyway, I hit my tee shot, got the dust cloud and the ball carried normally and went 297 on the fly.  Using a lvl 35 Callaway.

Based on this, I don't think the cloud of dust is part of the problem.

CLOUD OF DUST REPLAY CARRIES 297YDS

I like you investigative work Andyson!!

I just played 2 rounds around Beth... every tee shot when you pull back the driver, the tee  is clearly visible under the ball and when you hit it the tee pops out of the ground. Not one issue as we went round, but we are closely watching every tee shot now to make sure we can see the tee. I am hoping to come across one where it is missing and then get the shot on replay.

In the replays of myself, Allen and JVR it is clear when you watch them that the tee is not there, the ball is sitting on the ground.

As you said above... when you get a drop on the tee zone or on 4th at CCC hit the trees and get back on the tee ground, the shot does come out like it is teed up. Two different scenarios i feel. Thats a 2nd shot situation.

The missing tee under the ball on the replays is the common thread here from what i can see.  Pity we dont have more to look at.

Again... great work Andyson, maybe you should be working at WGT, in fact it seems we are doing their job, as we seem to be doing more work to find the problem.

True, and to make it worse our findings fall on deaf ears. Example:  Why don't they remove friends list updates from the game client to help eliminate meter stutter of lag or at least provide an option to turn them off?  The evidence is overwhelming!
