    Hey xta,

Thanks for the link - my first round on the course. Love it. I dont really mind that much about the graphics, it plays much the same as all the other courses on WGT.

So - big thumbs up from me.

    Cheers

    Doug

I dunno, Doug. Seems to play way easier than the other courses. Don't know if that's the game mechanics, the wide fairways, big greens or whatever. In my first 18 hole round there I don't recall finding the rough ever - once in the hard sand, which was hardly penal at all (no worse than light rough). I shot a 60 on that first go-round, for a Crystal award.

I agree. Does seem to be just plain easier. I ate some crow and played a full round on it a coupla days ago with a pal. The crow lunch was because back when it was introduced, he and I both swore we'd never pay a fee to play it at all, never, no how. Saw the above replay and I caved, saying to him why the hell not, let's check it out. By the time we hit the back side, we were both doing the ' hmmmm-I-HATE-to-admit-it-but-I'm-kinda-enjoying-this-damned-course'  thing. Doubt I'll play it with any regularity but I will play it again.

I, too, remember shooting a ridiculously low round the first time I played Cabo.. when it first opened... something like 57.  Tee to green, it is simple.. but wondering if the pins have changed? I've played it a bit lately for a change of pace, and the pin positions on what seem like half the holes can leave you with some severe breaking putts inside 8 feet.  Maybe I was just lucky the first time and was on the 'correct' side of the hole?  Putting has killed me the last month anyway.. but Cabo has been ridiculous ;)

You are right CM. The fairways are big and the greens are easty to hit but that is where the easy stops. I just got through playing and it was all i could do to shoot 5 under. The breakjs around the holes were horrible. I had several 2 footers that were outside the hole. Anyway, i had a great time playing. Will not pay to play very much.

How come landing in this little puddle results in a lost ball?? I thought it was a tarmac path!!

My caddie now knows it's more than his life is worth not to stick his hand in there and fish it out next time, he'll be a few days getting over the beating I gave him.. Fun course tho,
