mantis0014:
You have to be below the hole on the 18th, 20 ft away below the hole is better than 6ft past it.. or ya big trouble. as you said.
If I put all my rounds together then I would get to thinking that one day, somebody will shoot a -12 on the front 9 at cabo. If it hasn't been done already. Bird, Eagle, Eagle, Eagle and ya -7 after 4 holes...lol... bit of luck and ya laughing
You are correct about not being behind the hole on 18.. you would have thought I'd learned that the first time. I did have a good angle and not much slope to the hole, so I was just trying to cozy it up for my par... no go..
Funny you should mention being -7 thru the first 4 holes on Cabo.. I actually did that and made the post below in another forum.. 3 eagles (I eagled the first, believe it or not) and no putts outside 2 feet...
First hole, I holed out for eagle from 177...

After a routine birdie on #2, my tee shot on the par 4 3rd comes within 2 feet of a double eagle:

And then on the par 5 4th, once again I come within a foot of a double eagle:

And this was in an RG, no less ;)
