Like several other players here, I also tried stroke play at Rabo del Sol for the first time, in a ReadyGo (also my first ever ReadyGo) given that the marginal cost to play the course is zero since you're paying only the ReadyGo fee.
Some nice holes, liked the par 3 over the water. Lots of the greens are flat as a board, but 10 was a frustrating 3-putt from 5 feet or some such.
You can definitely see the features of the course that mark it out as a resort course: the extremely wide fairways, bailout landing zones and large greens (all to avoid frustrating the paying customers).
Just managed to win enough on the ReadyGos to recoup my entry fees plus a few cents left over. If I see an 18-hole ReadyGo I'll try to nail a decent award for the course, but don't expect to be hanging out down there.
