Well, well, well, all's well that ends well, then. All quite intelligent and adult. Good on all three of you; Helen, Imperialrock and icon. Well sorted. And when you guys do play, perhaps some stroke play instead? ;-)

Lesson for all, we can sort this out. Hats off to you Icon for letting it take it's course. A community needs a leader, but it is up to the community if we get along or not.

imperialrock, i applaud you for taking the chip off your shoulder and being a man.  you have become a class act and set an example for others to follow.  there needs to be more people in this world like you, for you just improved community cohesion by what you just did. i know we all have in our hearts the ability to ask for forgiveness as you have just proven.  thank you for putting an end to this thread.

    Mustaqbal1,

That is the sweetest thing for you to say, thank you so much, not sure all the legends that I beat on a regular basis would agree, lol

But I am always happy to speak up for the so called little people and do the right thing,

    Helen.

Helen : You are a class act. Not only did you escalate the issue accordingly without retaliation; rather with candor and decorum; you also extended unwarranted leniency and friendship. An act of benevolence rarely exhibited by many under the circumstances.

Imperialrock : Not to condemn nor applaud you, but though your choice of word was extremely tasteless, unprovoked and you deserve no respect,  I do commend you for your public apology. Beneath the inelegance, there seems to be some sense of dignity and character that came forth in your remorseful apology. Good on you !!

Hopefully, this will; to whatever extent; deter this behavior.

In keeping with the context in which this virtual game is intended...

Have fun and enjoy, a little respect goes a long way !!

    Juzzles !!

I'm glad this got settled ...even a fat old guy like me got propositioned ... and I have the screen shot to prove it ... (and no .. not by a girl).

However this thread brought up another great topic.

To WGT --- just so we are all informed and don't get our expectations up too high.   Would you be able to provide a list of which holidays WGT is actually closed for ?   And are you closed every Saturday and Sunday ? Or just some of them.  How about between midnight and 6 AM Pacific time ... are you closed then ?

I'm curious because ... There are a lot of minor holidays in the US. Here are just a few of my favorites which I think WGT should consider observing:

    1. Arbor Day - in honor of the tree on BP #2
    2. Groundhog Day - should always be a golfers holiday - ask Bill Murray in Caddyshack
    3. Halloween - for the boys using girl avatars and the girls using boy avatars
    4. April Fools Day  - Sometimes I think this should be the official WGT site holiday
    5. Cinco de Mayo - hiccup

And finally daylight savings time ends on November 6th ... will that effect the times tournaments have to be finished ???

    :) ... sorry .... couldn't resist ... :)
