DarSum: Then why the gripe?
I don't think it's a gripe as much as it is an accurate observation. The way I understand iukine is that the better players, given unlimited chances, will always come out on top. I get where he's coming from. One look at the sub 60 rounds already, knowing full well the cut's probably going to be around 57-58, can be a little depressing if you're not inclined to pound away until you get there. To a lot of players anything near a 60 is a great score, oftentimes a personal best.
I'm not sure changing anything is going to change who qualifies anyway. The good players will always be there. Only one chance to do it?-heh, they'll be pounding out the practice rounds under the tournament conditions until they can do it in their sleep. ;-)
