They have a lot of nice little challenges built into the game, for instance, St. Andres, the old course.
Wind in your face on just about every hole? Really hard to imagine that would be the case in reality. I haven't played that course, always wanted to, but I would imagine they have parallel opposing holes just like most other courses.
I couldn't tell you how many times I have hit a ball into the weeds, only for WGT to tell me it is a lost ball and I have only been playing 7 weeks on this addictive game. It only seems to happen when I am playing a Callie or a Srixon, hardly ever when I am practicing using free balls.
and the greens on the best of challanges, I played a lot of golf and can remember playing some distinctive courses in my years. I never came across a course yet that every hole was very fast greens, on every single hole. I had a putt last night, a 7.3 putt, very slighlty down hill (black fading to a hint of red), metered it at 5+ and it rolled 4 ft past the cup. Oh Well, that's golf. (Probably operator error)
It is what it is, however, and doesn't take away from the fun of playing,I only wish it was more realistic than it already is.
