Not really surprising to me AD. TopGolf is/was an interesting concept, but pricing at the ones I've been to are outrageous for what you get. Thankfully my few trips were part of of company "team building' experiences so not out of my pocket (and likely a write-off for the company).
I guess it could be OK for a family or group of friends once in a blue moon, but I'm more happy just going to the old school driving range and hitting off grass tees and having a hot dog and beer instead of $25 chicken fingers and $15 cocktails.
Then again I'm not part of the younger crowd demographic they were going after. I'm just a grumpy "get off my lawn" person I guess, and don't understand the younger crowd either not wanting to or not being able to hold their interest in something for more than 2 hours. I guess since we had to go to a pitch clock in MLB to get Gen Z involved the writing is on the wall.
