It is going to be a random, temporary thing done every so often according to @WGTNico in Discord. For some reason they don't want to make them permanent fixtures yet. My best guess would be they either want to keep them "fresh", or they want to roll out a few temporary ones and gather feedback/suggestions and verify overall interest before going forward with adding them full time.
