  * Okay just read about it.....wow and only 48. Those drugs must have done a nasty number on her. How unfortunate, she had such a beautiful voice  :(  Prayers are with the family & friends....R.I.P Ms. Whitney

  I found out from my local news website. It is surely a tragedy. Whitney and rapper Ray J were going to the Grammy's together tomorrow night. I'm sure there will be a memorial for Whitney during tomorrow nights show.

  Very sad news indeed..

  The world's lost a great talented voice & IMHO Whitney did to female music during her early career what Jacko did in the 80's. They were both milestones and are sadly missed.

  She had such a fantastic vocal range.

  I see a lot of Whitney's influence in Rhianna....as well as looks,

  RIP Whitney.

  For me....this was Whitney at her very best.

  Playing a multi-game with a couple of others, when one of said the sad news.... half hour later it came on the telly down here...

  grew up listening to her while in high school. greatest song ever was "and i will always love you".  them song to the bodyguard with kevin costner.
