There is only a few holes (wind dependent) that I shape a shot, but it dies work.

Not sure I'd think of playing a full round hat way though!

You can sometimes shape a shot using the wind. With no wind a shot hit early or late will go straight in the that direction. There's no drawing or fading the shot, as of yet.

clearly you havent learned it yet then.

you can very easily shape shots my doing what i said.

there will be a loss of distance, but you'll just have to adjust

Why should we listen to you? You never listen to anyone.

Piz is right!  There is no draw or fade! It's a miss hit. Pull or push. it  will take distance off your shot.

They say if you switch a hand you gain a stroke...but that's not really good here, is it?

    False.

If you miss the ding early it will start left of the target and continue to draw.

    and vice versa.

    argument over,

Truf - firstly, a fade goes left to right (for a right-hander), so what you're actually describing is a draw.  That said, it does NOT happen on WGT; what you are seeing is the wind affecting the ball.  Take Cong #4 for example.  You have a left to right wind, you aim in the right rough, you hit early... the ball will still move left to right.  The amount it moves depends on the strength of the wind.

hitting before the "ding" results in a draw.

hitting after the "ding" results in a fade.

When you miss the ding it's called the dang.
