My day starts at like 7 or 8PM (southern Ohio)... Im on my 730 something day and Id like to keep that going... Im sure I at least played my daily game.

Alosso's comment is very relevant. Do you know when "the day" for CDP starts, and which is the relevant event for the counter? Sure to have fulfilled that at the correct time?

I'm on the EST (LIKE YOU ARE) so my "day" starts at 8pm "RIGHT NOW". When Daylight Savings Time changes, the start of the day changes. Also, under current rules, if you are playing a game when the new day starts, THIS GAME DOES NOT COUNT FOR THE NEW DAY, but is still part of the old day.

That it has happened twice to you indicates some kind of confusion to this rule. Currently I'm working on 2,292 Days In A Row, so yes I watch carefully!

For Ohio, the new day starts at 8:00 PM (EDT).

Your best bet to revive the CDP would be to apply to CS - "Contact" below.

If you have a smart phone download the app and play a random every day at work during lunch. You will keep your CDP going and kill some time at lunch. That is how I have been doing it for quite some time. I am up to 2182 days and most of them were played during lunch.

There is no guesswork on when WGT day starts.

It is 0:00 UTC. That translates into 1 AM UK/Ireland summertime, 8 PM US EDT, 6 PM US PDT, and everyone can figure from there. As far as I know, Ohio is all US Eastern. In any event, we all know our own time zone.

UTC does not change, so when we switch off daylight savings or summer time in October, it will move up 1 hour.

The comment above is important. It is when one STARTS the game, not when one finishes it. Games started before "new day" starts are part of old day. It doesn't matter if one goes to bed and finishes it 10 hours later.
