Most of us are Ed Fiori's in the land of Jack Nicklaus !!!

    I can't get a date with Lizzie either!  I wish I was Brad Pitt, but I ain't.

As stated before, I personally support the idea of a new upper legend tier called Champion for sub-60 legends, with greater distances, harder hole locations, and championship greens. This would create a new goal to strive for, a new open field for equipment upgrades, and narrow the margin between the best players and the others.

I am  a TM and i watch my average go down but never up when i shoot a lousy game.

With that in mind when i make legend my average is equivalent to my best games. That being said there are no true averages for most players here except for the players who constantly play the same low scores all the time.So those who do not make legend with their real averages shouldn't be legends at all. Thus the problem of shooting out of our league.

Do the Yankees play in a better league because they have won 26 World Series?

    No.

Should Top Legends be in a different league because they win alot of fake money?

    No

Grow a pair, work harder at your game and try to become a Top Legend. If your skill/computer doesnt allow you to get there...tough break. You cant be the best at everything you want to be the best in. This is life.

Why try and punish the guys who have become good at this game and achieve low scores just because you cant. If you dont feel you can compete in a Ready go, DONT ENTER.

Not all the slots are taken up by low scores, so if you can play well then you should at least break even, if you dont think you can do that, well, PLAY THE FREE TOURNAMENTS.  Let the good players continue not sulking because you are not as good as them and you feel they need bringing them down a peg or two!

When i first started i would look at the tournaments and think how the heck did they score those good scores when i can only make a few birdies, a year or two later after learning to play, i'm up there scoring those low scores now

You misunderstand my upper legend tier idea, BeachedMulligan. I am not primarily trying to level the playing field, tho such a tier would narrow the margin between the best and the others, as I said, but to create a new challenge and a new demand for exciting upgrades. Surely my 58.74 average would suffer, just like in the days when the legend tier was introduced for the top tour masters, but that's all part of the game's natural and logical evolution.

Acting provides the fulfillment of never being fulfilled. You're never as good as you'd like to be. So there's always something to hope for.

    Same fella i believe!

    Cleworthy:

Yeah and we could have virtual sashes on our players that show our various levels and classes, with oak leaf clusters and battle ribbons...

That is going too far lol

A quick look at the Legend players shows an average score ranging from 55 to over 73.

Should someone with an average score 18 shots worse that the best players really be classed the same, or is the difference in their ability telling us that, they are not really a Legend, but merely a better than average player (and far better than I will ever be).

More categories/levels give players something more to aspire too. If you were to be reclassed as a Legend 3rd Class, would it not give you an added incentive to better your game and become 2nd Class, 1st Class etc ?

Thought this was supposed to be real golf as possible.Real golf has handicaps. You cannot be a golf professional if you don't have the game and the game is shooting low scores constantly.Other wise you get a handicap. You turn your scores in to get that handicap. All scores. You don't take the best and leave the rest. But of course the USGA or the PGA doesn't know what its doing.Comon guys they've been around a lot longer than WGT.

Doesn't seem to be a lot of real time golfers here.whooooa is me.

i dont think.  a new Level for Legend,is a bad ideal ........any Legend with 90 + level ,and a stable avarage of let say (55 to 60)...could be called champion Legend tiers .....it would get them a new challenge to go for .......and us avarage players,a chance to work harder or dream more :)
