I guess the only problem I see is that there are some Legends that have played this game so long as Masters, then Tour Masters that... due to the sheer number of rounds theywere basically forced to the Legend upgrade.  These players don't stand a chance at competing with the Legends that consistently shoot 20's and 50's and unfortunately will tend to get bored or get to the point where they don't want to dump any more cash into the game to give to the top dogs.

How do you fix this???  I doubt if WGT cares to fix it but if they want to I'm sure they could figure out a way....

Suggestion to these type of players... stay away from Ready-Go's.... bad bet....

    My 2 cents...

Do you mean putting the Legends further back than they already are?

Unless WGT photographed the courses with that in mind, they'd have to go back and photograph them all over again, and then photoshop  in new tee boxes.

Players look at the ready go leaderboards and always make the mistake of looking at what's required to win it. They should be looking at what's required to make the top 10. That'll get you a profit. Even top 15 will get you your credits back. Keep making top 15's and top 10's and you will build the experience needed to maybe go out and smash a round to win 1. I probably win 1 out of about 25 RG's i enter but if i can place top 15 in 20 of those 25 then i'm making a tidy profit.

    Very good point!

Even the best of the best don't win every RG. Even a relatively bad completed round will get you half of your entry back and your good rounds will make some, and your really good rounds might win or at least top 5.

It's really good practice, and to be honest the only difference between anyone and the top players (besides hitting the ding) is knowing where to land your approaches, leaving yourself the easiest possible putt and the only way they got there is practice, practice, practice!

Putting is obviously a huge factor and anyone wanting to learn or improve, I would suggest watching suncity and BIB's vids on youtube. I for 1, learnt a lot and I'm sure many others have too.

    Anyway good luck to all.

when i started playing this game about a year ago, i was amazed looking at the top legend scores, Bollox shooting 58s at Oak and i could not go under 65, and at that time R11 or Nikes balls didnt exist, but i wanted to be up there, so i tried to make legend as quick as possible, problem i had to low level when i got there, i could not compete with that current equipment, but i grinded away, stayed away from RG until i could get the Burner 2.0 and at lvl 88 i got the R11 Driver, my account was basicly empty at that time, i still remember it, it was Aug first and i had about 400$ in earnings, 1500c left after that purchase,  i had deposited maybe 120$ until then. After that, when i had the best stuff, as all other top legends, i started playing all RG i could get my hands on, and i won some, i tried not to WD as my creditstock was low, i was at that time unemployed so all my earnings had to count, i got better and better and now some ppl would consider me one of the top guys, i have played alot and practiced alot to get where i am today.

So instead of crying about guys that are good, try and get there oneself by practice and play, if one dont have that need or motivation to become one the top guys, well, set you mark lower then.

ps, i still miss one or two 5ft putts

This is the American way…..when I played summer fast pitch and my dad coached the team we didn’t lose a game 4 years running. Every year the teams that didn’t practice as hard or as long as we did, just wanted us out of the league.

These Legends spend amazing amounts of time fine tuning every aspect of their game. If we can’t keep up, then the next best thing to do is to move them to an island in the Pacific so we can win a few. If you want to keep up then practice more and learn new ways for every shot. And yes, you may practice more than you ever dream and still may not beat them. They really are just that good. You know Like Phil, Tiger, Rory ect………….

Just my opinion and not intended bring anyone down..

    Hugs

    Amy

    I totally agree !!

As a new legend...I do NOT want to be coddled...I do not want to be given a special tier....

If I go toe to toe with a top legend, and using Bollox as an example, and say he beats me by 10 strokes...that means I have to find a way to make up those strokes so I can compete.....The top tier players here are now my measuring stick....

If they made it to the top, maybe thru diligent practice so can I, If I'm willing to put the time in.....I'm not being cocky. Isnt that true with anything in life ?...By trying to get better you will get better...If you don't, at least you tried....

But dont hand me a special tier so I can pretend I'm good....

I have a friend here who is a very good legend, but by making some adjustments and tweaking her game, she has now elevated her game, and has the top of the leaderboards within her sights...thats what i'm talking about...."Trying To Get Better "...

I also dont want to hear that tired old adage " I have a life "...we all do...but a little effort goes a long way without sacrificing your personal life....

No, we may not make the Tiger level here...but the fun for me is in the quest....

Leave things the way they are...but thats just my opinion...THX !

    Ben

thinking how good they were. Now I post scores equal to, or greater than they do.

Well, not really - lol. You will need to make more putts to do that - no offense.
