This is the American way…..when I played summer fast pitch and my dad coached the team we didn’t lose a game 4 years running. Every year the teams that didn’t practice as hard or as long as we did, just wanted us out of the league.

These Legends spend amazing amounts of time fine tuning every aspect of their game. If we can’t keep up, then the next best thing to do is to move them to an island in the Pacific so we can win a few. If you want to keep up then practice more and learn new ways for every shot. And yes, you may practice more than you ever dream and still may not beat them. They really are just that good. You know Like Phil, Tiger, Rory ect………….

Just my opinion and not intended bring anyone down..

    Hugs

    Amy

congrats to all the legends that have low averages I am very jealous as I am still adjusting to the new level

while I do not think there should be a new level (champion legend.....etc)

what I would like as I miss playing in RG'S ( my legend playing is not good enough)

is there a way to have different rg's for different averges legends

    50-57average

    58-63 average

64+ averages for the newbies (like me  lol )

meanwhile I will keep plugging along

p.s. any legends what to give me advice lol

Shouldn't it be the same for all tiers. A newly promoted Master is going to find it as much of a struggle against one who is on the Tour Master tier bubble!!!

    JayCollier:

In looking at some of the WGT tourneys I am having my thoughts solidified concerning Legends who shoot in the mid 20's in a nine hole event, and mid 50's for 18 holes.  This is getting a little ridiculous I think.  That means they are averaging 2.77 or rounded to 2.8 strokes per hole.  I am not sure how this is accomplished but why do the rest of us have to compete with the pinball wizards of computer golf.  A person can only play so much feeling like they are defeated before they tee off and eventually I would think they would look elsewhere for their enjoyment, I know I am looking and like some of what I see out there.

Hey!  WGT, maybe it's time to divide the troops and create some new ranks.  Super Legends or High Stratosphere Legends.  Or (insert suggestion here).

I understand the point although I see this as a WGT issue, besides it has been discussed many times already. Why are the legends averages no going up any longer after 400 ranked rounds??, what is the reason for it??, I don't get it, humm, must be something to do with sales or simply "good business".

I said this before, the game is so bloody easy that making a ranked match under 30 in 9 holes or 60 in 18 holes is just easy for the most average legends here. I rather see this particular game so bloody difficult that a 70 or mid 60 is just awesome!!!. New tools (equipment) makes game easier &easier....why??? hell why??. where is the challenge?? being the top money maker?....top earners can not spend their hole amount of earned credits even if the throw a 150 credit ball OB every single shot for the rest of their lives!

Where are we going to end up at this pace....low 40's avg??...what for?, game becomes boring, very, well at least to me. Best part of it...ALTERNATES, there is where I find the only fun left in this game.

Hope I am no offending anyone....just my opinion.

To the OP. Keep playing Ready-Go's and posting scores in the weekly and monthly tournaments. Your Legend skill level will continue to increase making you a competitor before you know it. You can't rush greatness.

There is no need for a new tier. Players who want to be competitive just need to keep at their game like the rest of the better players have. I remember looking at players averages and scores coming up through the tiers and thinking how good they were. Now I post scores equal to, or greater than they do.

P.S. I agree with Lizzie too.

As I said earlier to those who keep missing the point, I am not primarily trying to level the playing field, tho an upper legend, champion tier would narrow the margin between the best and the others, but to create a new challenge and a new demand for exciting upgrades.

    This is a logical evolution.

If the average legend isn't competitive against the top players.....then why did they work so hard to become a legend in the first place?

It seems like everybody wants to be a legend (apparently it makes you so much cooler than everyone else?), but once they've achieved that status, a lot of them don't want to play against the "uber-legends", because it's too hard to win anything.

To coin a phrase, "be careful what you wish for".  You might just find out that it's not really what you wanted.....
