    Helm, who died Thursday in New York City at age 71 after a long battle with cancer, was part of one of the most revered ensembles in rock history, The Band,

    Saw the farewell tour when they came through Pittsburgh! Don't remember much about it, CRS ! "Can't remember s#*t" Sorry! Thats a consequence of growing up in the 60's & 70's! But I awlways loved his style! RIP

    Oh my god, caddie, absolutely right. Completely, perfectly effective. Whoa. I always knew he was a very good actor going back to Coal Miner's Daughter but that scene is absolutely stellar. What was that film???

    Never mind, looked it up. It was a film called Shooter. Wasn't particularly interested in it when it came out but now I am. Gonna Netflix it.
