  The irons are the main item you need. Putting is more about the read than the actual stick imo.

  I'm counting down the days to the lvl 59 G20's, currently I'm lvl 54. Hopefully they might solve some of my problems. Also going to upgrade my putter to the lvl 55 Rossa and maybe also upgrade my wedges if I have enough funds.

  For a discussion about club selection you might want to open a new thread. Only one thing here:

  Look at the putter as the last item, irons and - IMHO more - wedges will support your play more, unless you're totally unhappy with that Anser putter.

  i do agree with most suggestions on this post but i also find 

  oakmont 18 th a bit of a pain especially when i need the birdie

  I can't stand the 13th at st. andrews but the 9th and 18th at oakmont are very difficult

  Hit more than an extra club with a little backspin should roll near the pin with some lucknthe other day i almost eagled it! Hit the grass in front by mistake and it hit the flag but i managed to birdie it!
