I think WGT crank up the deviation you get in a round when you start to do well. I've played today for an hour and a half, on 5 occasions i've birdied the first 4 holes, then on 5 i will hit a tree. After the 2nd time i thought this was strange, so i purposely aimed more left to avoid tree on the 3rd attempt and was planning on landing in rough rather than hit tree, then i hear some sort of clunk on the drive and my DINGED drive fly's right not hitting the branch but the actual main tree. On 2 occasions out of the 5 i've managed to have an approachable shot to save par. One of those shots the 14 mph wind didn't turn my ball and i was left with 8 yard putt, then on the occasion i landed within 2 yards to save par, i aimed slightly right to compensate for break, yet the ball started out from the hole, NOT MY AIM POSITION and went well left no where near my aim point. It was like i had to bogey that hole what ever due to my good start.
I've played that hole when i'm -3 not -4 and never ever have a problem, i've even gone through the tree aswel but as son as i'm -4 playing that hole something strange always happens. The moral of the story, leave a wedge at home and stick a chainsaw in your bag instead if you're -4 and teeing off the 5th. (or make sure your only -3 at the 5th)
I hope the cut is 57 too, can stop all these frustrating restarts trying to get a 56!
