Well many would say that it's taken them long enough. How about opening up your fair course to the wider public on WGT now that you're moving in this direction? Get on the phone Chad whilst their guard's down!!!!

    May 2006.....

The incoming chairman [Billy Payne] of Augusta National, the home of the Masters, has dismissed the possibility of women becoming members in the near future.

    August 2012.....

"This is a joyous occasion," Augusta National chairman Billy Payne said

James, it could take 6 years..........

Well, we typically like hockey and beer....and we can all spell toque in 2 official languages.

Mr. Driver's caustic cynicism is very atypical for Canada.  :)

I would have liked to hear what went on in the club members' discussion of this. The old guard there must be having heart attacks.

Well, they haven't mentioned how the locker room thing is going to play out yet.  "You're welcome to join, provided the co-ed showers aren't an issue?"  ;)

Heh-Worse than that. They ran into some culture shock when they were forced to accept Tiger. Now they get to deal with it again in spades with a woman of color. I'll bet they're absolutely frosted. :-)
