The idea is good, but not really the putts that are left for you to play in a regular game. Putting Tourneys could be good for CC's if green speeds could be dictated when setting the tourney up??? A driving range feature could also be helpful? All the best Tony

I sincerely beg to differ . Some of us are quite involved in striving for accuracy in our putts. This challenge is incredibly difficult and offers an excellent opportunty to fine hone your skills.

Absolutely right. 55-260 ft. putts, are you kidding me? If you truly are putting from those distances, I would suggest you give up the game.Sad to say, this was a perfectly good waste of time and money on WGT`s part. Instead of wasting money, they should be getting Microsoft to develop a flash player for the game so we dont have to put up with half a$$ adobe flash player.

So another great idea that just went south, due to unrealistic planning and common sense application by the great thinkers at WGT.Gee, I wonder what else they can screw up next, other than the rest of the game. Happy Swinging.

Looking at the putting stats of both naysayers above, I'd say you would both do well to practice your long putting on this challenge.  Your longest putts are 41 & 37 feet?  3 putt percentages of 21% and 24%?  C'mon man!   And Lonnie, keep in mind most putts we see of those great distances are for eagle (#5 STA comes to mind).  Its nice to get them putts close for bird and occasionally one goes in.

I didn't find this putt boring at all!

    Did you 1963jth??

    Keep 'em coming WGT!

You are right, my longest putt is 37 ft. on record , so what. The last time I checked, the object of the game was too get as close to the hole as possible, and then putt. I dont need to practice for long putts, as I am working on my iron game to get closer to the hole for shorter putts. So it seems to me , as stated earlier in post, if these are the distances you are putting from , you may want to either practice on your short game or give up the game and go fishing. As for that 37 footer, that was done back when I was either an amateur or pro .And yes I do need to work on my putting, so I spend my time playing practice stroke play and not wasting my time on trying to make unrealistic putts.Happy Swinging

I'd like to amend my earlier statement by saying that this game offers many different choices for varying tastes. By all means , if you want to wedge it, the ctth putting challenge offers that option. If, say your alt shot partner has had a few too many cocktails ( not that I would know anything about that :)) you may find yourself in a position where a 260 ft. putt is small potatoes, lol. Lonnie, for what it's worth, imo, you really do need to lighten up and just have some fun playin' the game any way you see fit, just like the rest of us. No offence meant, but comin' off like somebody just pissed in your cornflakes tends to put a negative aspect on a positive thing.
