    WGTicon:

    Hi

it wasn't entirely our decision. In order to continue offering these, we had to raise it. I didn't like it either, but I rather have this at these levels than not have it at all.

    thanks for the warning :(

Message to the guys here who claim that they had 3,600 and 2,400 "views" when this happened..................WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU "THINKING" ??

Who on earth just racks up views day after day after day after day after day after day without cashing them in?  You clearly aren't too bright if you are doing that.  I always cashed in my views when I got to 50 views (for 75 credits).   If you didn't do likewise then you have nobody to blame but yourselves as far as I am concerned.

Do I like this new policy?  HELL NO

Do I like the fact that they did this without ANY advance notice whatsoever?  HELL NO

Is there anything I (or anyone else) can do about it?  HELL NO (and WGT knows that).

P.S. With the amount of videos being offered now you can get up to 30 views or more per day - so it doesn't take all that long to get to 100 views.

i guess savings accounts are a bad idea too.  should expect the bank to take 50% of your savings cuz the banks not getting enough return.

      Bad example ...

Knowing that things happen here,to make things disappear. Not cashing in.Never crossed my mind..Besides,,the bank is the credits you have, and not used yet.The credit you have not cashed in,,Is a check not cashed yet ,and can get lost or stolen at any time,,,

    whatever u say.......

perhaps pockets full of casino chips would better suit the logic.  go to the cage, get half what you did a week ago.........ya sure

i view credits as cash on hand, views as savings waiting to be converted to cash on hand

    re: savings account

Credits are the currency used in this game. Views are a foreign currency that must be exchanged for credits. Just as in real life that exchange rate can change at any time. By choosing to bank your views instead of exchanging them for credits you were counting on the exchange rate never changing. Unfortunately for you, it did.

No one took credits away from you. No one took views away from you. No one raised the price of anything. Only the exchange rate changed.

At least WGTadmin2 says they're willing to look at the situation on a case-by-case basis. That's more than WGT is really obligated to do. To get them in a more positive and willing mood I would suggest a little less blasting them about the greed angle.

I'm not particularly upset about the new conversion rate. It is what it is and it's my own decision whether each individual video is worth the payout. My major complaint is the poor way that WGT handled the implementation of the change and the response to the outcry. They still don't understand the basics of customer service.

you guys crack me up.  workin for the man?  what would indicate that any vies for credits exchange rate would be variable.  by that logic.........sit on em, maybe they'll be worth 2 credits per view someday.

silliness in defense, you like apples, i like oranges.....it's a fruit basket in here

i don't really care, I agree with you, it's shabby handling.

besides, advertisers want eyeballs.....if they're paying too much for it I'd like to know how that's even possible.......there are a TON of eyes on WGT.  these views don't cost em i wouldn't thing.  I'd guess its just incentive to put the eyes on the adverts.....and it works.

to say wgt has little to do with the decision is confusing, they manage the credits and the product they sell and accept advertising incentives for from whomever.

two worlds collide and the fallout can be bad for our health lol

Not "workin for the man". Just pointing out that your example was an incorrect one in that it was, to use your terms, an apples and oranges comparison..

As for an indication, I would say that there wasn't one before but there's a really big one now.

The need to exchange views for credits always bothered me since they also have some videos directly for credits. I never understood the need for both. Since I didn't like the idea of the exchange I always redeemed them every time I had 50. Plus, as I pointed out, credits are used here to buy things, not views. So, I banked credits.

If you choose to sit on them in hopes they'll be worth 2 credits some day, that is entirely your choice.
