    gmaster007:
I don't think a 10 or 15 or even 5 second notice that the "Tee off" button was hit,
is such a major change, yet it would help out in a lot of cases.

It was acknowledged by Chad in the chat today. He said he'd mention it to the (something) Manager.

wha? no, he was surprised by it.
    said it's an interesting suggestion
and said it should be communicated
over the forums (or something like that),
implying this wasn't discussed in the forums (to his knowledge).
I don't recall the exact time stamp, but you can go back and watch it again.

I'm still not sure what that feature would even facilitate. Maybe that's why he acted surprised. It seems frivolous to me. What would it help?

or maybe it's because he thought "hmm, that's actually a smart idea"

as to your question "What would it help",
I explain it in details, you can go back a page or two and read it.

it's a 10-15 second timer that serves as a small warning or notification
to let you know that the host hit the tee off button,
so if for whatever reason you don't want to stay,
you can leave without it effecting the % rank.

whether you like it or not,
there's no harm in such a feature,
just a 10 second "heads up" clock
to e1 in the lobby before the game loads.

I got what you said. I did read your explanation. I'm still not sure what that feature would facilitate. You have plenty of time to change your mind once you see the foursome. There's plenty of other things that need attention.

    there's no time factor here,since it's a wild guess.
sometimes the game host will rush to tee off before you even get
to ask him to wait for more players in the chat,
sometimes, he'll just plain ignore you and hit tee off anyway.

host can hit tee off w/ 1 player or 2 players,
or players you don't want to play with,
and in most cases, it's too late to abort the round.

if you don't get it you don't get it,
most people got it and liked it,
and like i said there's no downsides to it.

I understand. I was thinking of AS and your scenario applies to games where you can tee off with less than 4.

there are some cases in AS where that feature would help,
say you join 3 players, but it takes you a second or two to notice
that say...., the shot timer is 30 seconds, which is too short,
but by the time you notice that, host has already hit the tee off button,
and now you're locked in. a 10-15 second warning timer,
would give you a small window to abort the round,
and also cancel the tee-off if you do, so that someone else may fill that slot.

    That's pretty much what happened.

It was this question and his response in which he elaborated more how what is suggested get filtered to the Product Manager, and we should be putting these suggestions in the forum.

It's from 32.19' in the chat.

Same remark towards CC owners' options: Don't put up such subject surprisingly in the chat but start to discuss it in the forum before. In the post-chat thread (page 8) Pizza supported this point of view.

At that point I understood the importance of our contributions here being nil for the company. The CEO talked about the task of a "community manager" who will read those proposals in the forum and communicate them into the company.

He should install this function asap to avoid further frustration of active customers.

And, being put down by WGT for legit criticism, I will hold myself back from doing their customer support job anymore. IMO, they leave the customers alone, thus the customers should experience this.

Epic fail on Pizza's part, he's the obvious "community manager" here. How else do you explain Chad's surprise at some of the questions? This was Pizza's proud moment but give him credit for pulling it off. Now give him time to get it right.
