jeffdos924: you get 1 ball that costs what, $1.33ish? In my book, that's more than a 10% bonus.
This is worth noting, and in fact if you were to deposit $10, 3 times you end up with a sleeve.
$30 spent for a $5 bonus. This in itself is value to those who regularly use this ball.
No doubt.
But there is more at hand here.
Many will take up the offer, receive a single ball and enter games with it.
The ploy here is those that dont notice the durability run out will be left with an option to BUY a sleeve, or resort to WGT Standard balls.
THIS, is where the 'free bonus' makes money for WGT. Far more than offering a sleeve for a $30 deposit.
Two way street I guess. On one hand there are those that benefit, on the other there are those that are being taken advantage of.
I don't use those balls personally, I would take up the offer for balls that i do use.
No doubt.
But WGT aren't aiming this promotion to those who already use this ball. It wouldn't work otherwise.
Happy Holidays, may the spirit of Thanks Giving be with you all. =)
