  man, WGT just threw me a complete curveball with this ..

  i've been playin' the Burners since lvl79, now this .. obviously i'm pushin' for lvl90 towards those R11's ..

  but this has me wondering .. basically you got Burners now with a 12pm meter .. now thats huge !!

  make me wonder, should i perhaps stick to the Bladez and forego the R11's ? i've been doin' pretty well with the Burners, love their performance .. but, to be able to have Burners (Bladez)  with a mtr at 12pm is a big deal IMO ..

  distance is fine compared to R11's .. 1/2 dot less spin i'm not worried about .. 12pm mtr easier to ding than 1pm mtr .. plus, all clubs with a 12pm mrtr .. drivers through to wedges .. which to my mind negates the half dot less forgiveness as well

  very clever WGT ... lol, very "sneaky" .. very tempting .. dang, dang, dang !! what to do ??

  What is your current XP so you can figure out when you'll reach L90? I am 30,000 short so will hopefully get there by the new year.

  I think they look really good and having the same meter speed as my wedges and woods would be great but they're clearly not as good as the R11 irons which I'm going to buy anyway.

  The only question for me is do I want to spend 3,000 credits on clubs that I'm only going to use for a month and then spend another 3,000 credits on the next set. Nice try WGT but no.

  yeah bud .. this is my dilemma now ..

  i'm still 79 000 XP away from lvl90 .. 2 months or so ..

  my point is, should i get these & stick with 'em ? not bother with the R11's then ? sure, the R11's will remain the top clubs .. but both Burners & R11's (apparently) play very similar, the R11's being slightly more forgiving than the Burners & stick slightly better ..

  yet, i know the B's so well by now .. to have B's @ 12pm, putting all my clubs at exactly the same mtr speed, is HUGELY tempting to me .. possibly even more tempting than extra half dot forgiveness & spin

  All of those slight advantages you state make a big ass difference. Those extra 5 yds come in handy, and the yardage gaps are filled better with the R11s instead of have 3 clubs within 10 yds of each other. I say stay with your Burners and wait for the R11s. This is coming from someone who used the Burners since level 79. Adjusting to R11s will be a lot easier than any other iron upgrade in the game.

  If you're not going to bother with the R11 irons then they''re worth getting. In my opinion (and not having used the R11s) there are certain shots especially with the 3 and 4 iron that they significantly outperform the burners on.

  The other thing to consider is that you will have to learn these as well in terms of distances and they may not be an exact replica of the burners with slower meter speed.

  You've got the R11 irons now so can comment better on the upgrade from the burners. A must buy is what you appear to be saying.

  Chris, your shooting 28s and 29s the Burners now. You really think 12pm is gonna help you that much? If so, go ahead...waste of money.

  yeah, i guess u're right ..

  it would be much easier for guys adjusting to the R11's who've played the Burners .. i guess that is the flipside to this .. guys playin' the Bladez from lvl79 will struggle more with the R11's at 1st once they get there ..

  still a clever move by WGT here IMO ..
