    Yes, I absolutely understand that the R11's are longer and will pay huge dividends for long iron shots. 

    I'm inquiring if anyone has noticed increased loft on comparable irons. burner 3 vs. r11 3 iron for example. Does the slightly increased distance create a more lofted shot? Does the extra spin factor create a more lofted shot? Are the R11's programmed to have increased loft even though they "say" they are trajectory rated as the same bit different.

    The R11s do fly higher IMO, especially the short irons and PW.

     I am the oddball here I think - I scrapped the R11s to get these.  The matching slower meters are worth giving up the awesome brakes of the R11 long irons.

    The one thing I do wish they had done when replacing the Burners with these was to rework the yardages to 15 yard increments for the 8 down to pitching wedge.  It wasn't enough to be a deterrent for me, but would have made them a perfect fit between the G20s and R11s.
