I can sympathize with the higher level players out there who were hoping for a better performing set of irons than the R11's. About 8 months back I bought the real R11 irons and had them fitted to my swing. They are brilliant! Perhaps a little too advanced for my handicap, as I have found out when not hitting them true and proper from time to time, but regardless, they are the best irons I have played with by a country mile.
Two days ago I was at the Pro Shop looking for a few miscellaneous products and saw they were selling the new Rocketbladez, which I asked if I could swing in the nets for a bit. They have a very soft feel to them, and a slightly bigger cavity back, which is probably supremely suited for my handicap as opposed to the R11's. I have also swung the Rocketballz around after my brother-in-law bought them upon their release. My opinion...You have the RBZ then the Burners, Rocketbladez after that and then of course the R11's.
Taylormade have another set of high end irons available which I haven't tried yet, called the Tour Preferred MC forged irons. These would probably be the only set from this brand that might be a little better than the R11's, however put this into stat form like we have on this game, and you will probably be buying a half a dot more of something as compared to the R11's.
I guess the only thing better than all that... Arguably, would be the new Ping Anser clubs, which perhaps WGT will bring out sometime. The Titleist MB forged clubs would also be put in that same bracket.
But I think they have it spot on with how they positioned the Bladez within the product range, being slightly inferior to the R11's. The fact I have actually played with most of these clubs, for me at least, it makes it more real which is what WGT always say they strive to achieve.
Now someone convince Pizza to talk to Chad about those Ping Anser clubs! ;)
