    lol yip,

I am itching to try the Rb's though :-)

Might not seem like a lot but I think that one increment less speed could be quite significant and even give them a slight edge over the R11's, if you're closer to the ding, the half dot less forgiveness with the RB's may become irrelevant?

Don't know really, those clubs are a WGT scewball of note lol

well, i haven't played the R11's yet, so it is impossible for me to make any comparisons .. i just go by what others have been sayin' regarding the R11's .. of course they should be better than the Bladez & i have no doubt that they are ..

i've always carried 2 sets of irons in my inventory, alternating play between the 2 .. right now i've got the Burners & Bladez .. the Bladez play significantly easier than the Burners due to that 12pm mtr compared to the 1pm mtr on the Burners .. i think what really helps is the fact that all my clubs now have the same mtr speed .. it really works for consistency .. that was really the big draw card for me, the same mtr speed through all clubs .. Bladez are as unforgiving as the Burners, but with better consistency i've found that i'm on ding or very close to it more consistently, and that is huge in my books ..

i've seen some posts where people complain about the Bladez's inconsistency in distance into headwinds, but that is nonsense .. i've spent many hours dialing them in and they do react a bit differently to the Burners when one applies full backspin .. u have to add slightly more for full back with Bladez compared to Burners .. once u've got that figured, they are as consistent distance wise as the Burners ..

having said all that, when i hit lvl90 i will dump the Burners and also pick up the R11's .. it is impossible for me to say which of the 2 i will favor eventually .. i'm extremely curious about that xtra half dot of spin on the R11's as it relates to stopping power on the 3i & 4i .. also wanna see how that xtra half dot of forgiveness plays out .. some have said the little xtra forgiveness on the R11's is very noticeable, others have said that they don't see any difference in forgiveness between the Burners & R11's ..

one thing is for sure, these Bladez are excellent clubs & they will stay in my inventory indefinitely .. unless something replaces them in the future that tops them .. i don't see that happenin' any time soon ..

    Thanks mates.

Mmm, the 5 yard difference between them is also important, it's not an easy decision to make!.

    Well Chris,

Let me put it like this, with the R11's I use the Callie z (slow meter :-)) and very rarely need any spin at all, only time I use any spin is if my approach distance dictates it or in a tail wind or to a downhill sloping green..

With the Callie z and full bs they go just shy of rated distance (Thank you Spammage for giving me this pearl of wisdom)

So, yes, they are THAT good, however, that meter speed is still a factor and also why the new RB's seem like they must be a serious consideration.

Can't be any harm having a 2nd, slower meter set for those days when the R11 meter just seems too fast lol

exactly the reason why i've always kept 2 sets, one with slower mtr .. used to be Burners & lvl83 G20's .. but i've hardly ever gone back to the G20's, even on days when i battled with the Burners mtr .. the Burners were/are just THAT much better than the G20's ..

so now, lvl90 looming, i reckon the Bladez / R11's will make the perfect alternate set of irons ..

I went straight from the L83 G's to the R11's, had to completely change the way I played this game, pre R11's it was backspin on everything, which caused wind issues and yardage inconsistencies etc etc,

Now I have none of that and the game is so much more enjoyable, bit like darts lol.

Still gonna get me a look at those bladez tho..Some of the scores I'm hearing about with those clubs from some very big guns in this game are scary to say the least, if someone can shoot 26 f9 olympic and another can shoot 55 BPB after having them for 1 day, just imagine the possibilities :-)
