    borntobesting:

If  you look at the closely at the slopes on the greens and not just the dots most of the breaks are really there. True they are hard to read but not impossible. Pay more attention the slopes of the green and less to the dots. Use zoom when reading the greens and you can the the subtle breaks much better.

    Good tip, thanks!

    Edit

Having actually bothered to read the thread properly now, I see we are talking from a legend tee perspective, I suppose I have that to look forward to, will take your word for it, was preaching about how good I am at Kiawah, seems a little stupid, so removed it now :)

Play the back 9 in practice mode from championship tees and tourney greens. Although tourney greens are mellow compared to champ greens, the length alone will make it fun.

Olympic and Oak greens are tough but can read. Kiawah has some ridiculous ones. Very hard for reading green.
