  I'm not really sure what is meant by that comment, I've played against Puholino in MPC matches and have found him to be a friendly, courtious opponent, I have won but Puholino was very congratulating in my win.

  I don't believe Puholino should be questioned as a cheat.

   

  Oh No ... not saying Puholino is ... I think he is a very good contributor to the forum community ... just that he points out yet another aspect of the cheating that is going on. My comment was to toward what he said and the ones who employ such a tactic.

  Puholino, my remarks are not an accusation, Sorry if anyone took it that way.

  And there I was thinking someone finally figured me out  ;-)

  No worries, I understood what you meant and I hope anyone who knows me and has played with me does as well. And tbh, I don't really care that much about what anyone outside that circle thinks.

  HMMM,  I don't understand all of this I DEMAND A RESPONSE, krap!  If you have been here any reasonable length of time, and took the time to read the forums in a reasonable fashion you would already know the answer to your question.

  WGT is an entity of its own making.  WGT does eventually respond, or act on those items brought to their attention that directly relate to the running of a profitable business.  Otherwise not.  In other words "Go Pound Sand"  and thats my nickle.

  Me too and not very successful at it.  Can't putt either.  About the time I think I got the wind figured out it doesn't blow at all.  Why not show variations in wind strength as well as the variations in direction.  Another thing would be to place the player right behind the avatar regardless of what shot it being played. When I played golf I never had to putt from the fairway on any hole or golf course.  Just thought I'd throw two cents in.

  After a few days of this post progressing and having WGTdbloshoe contact me I would like to share a few final thoughts and then disappear into the sunset.

  My intentions here were to solicit from WGT a coherent stand alone response specifically addressing software cheats and multi-accounters. Why? Well myself as well as others really don't want to troll previous forums posts to acquire bits and pieces of information specific to this subject.  Quite honestly any player, specifically newer players, should be able to find a stand alone posted statement regarding this for all to easily access.  Thought that was a fair request.

  Me, I am a pretty fortunate player here.  I can honestly say I haven't knowing encountered a cheat  or a fraud.  My earned ability to play this game threw time and practice has afforded my to play with many of the best players here.  And yes they can shoot great scores, but they can also shoot crap scores, its part of the game. But I have been in circles where the concerns of others expressing their encounters with cheats/frauds has started to become a daily topic and this concerned me.

  WGTdbloshoe has earned my respect. He reached out to me after the initial post and some subsequent posts where we exchanged some sarcasm.  What I can say after that exchange is WGT is aware of the issues, they will release some guidelines or points specific to this issue.  However we should realize that an expectation of specifics will not be forthcoming.  I would not expect WGT to outline specifics on this matter, nor should the playing community.  All I asked for was assurances that these issues were a concern of WGT's and being addressed and having that released accordingly to the playing community.

  Thanks to the players who share my thoughts and views on this subject. Thanks to my friends who i am fortunate to play this game with.  Thanks again to WGTdbloshoe for trying to answer my concerns.  I doubt I will ever involve myself with forum posts again(a relief to some I am sure).

   

  Oh one last thing.....Yeah the game has a few deviations, the wind can be fickle, the "VEM" can get you, putt speeds vary course to course, the meter is challenging some days and some days you suck and other days you play great.  Boys and Girls that is the game of Golf.

  The thread was worthwhile. VEM exists and how much that sux or should be.....greater minds than me can work out the correct balance. This remains fundamentally a very good game, BUT I for one HOPE that the WGT response is as full as possible.  As it stands the balance in the game is just wrong.  TLs are VERY VERY good players, and will do well, but they are a tiny minority and are not the future of the game.  No offence to people that good but as a revenue base.....math easy!

  What the vast majority of people want is a level playing field for a leisure time game - simple! Perception is everything and at the moment the stories of cheating are rife.  Moreover, which normal player is (very often) going to enter a RG with players already better and with better equipment? Straw poll on that one away from these forums! Throw in the cheating accusations and no way on RGs or any other form of challenge, and revenue DOWN.  Geez throw in VEM and perception says why bother with friends as far as challenge goes......................perception is all!

  I hope the WGT response is far reaching, and deals with these fears in a positive manner. Big job...........What did happen to the Sega Mega Drive after all? I hope this game continues to flourish...........

  Dear JFHuber;

  While I find YOUR post....your comments here interesting & at the same time disturbing - the "tranparency"of this WGT site (in my opinion) SHOULD work BOTH ways. 

  I have come to learn in the 15 months as a WGT member...that there are MANY, MANY "rules, issues, criteria for making it to the next hightest Tier, what members can and can't post" etc. etc. etc.....and this so much of this CONTINUES to CHANGE.....YOU and I and the other members just don't KNOW that these changes are constantly taking place.....all we can do is GUESS, and WGT has designed this site to keep us all "confounded".  And.....WGT will ALWAYS continue to "move the goal posts". 

  I recall being excited about making it to LEGEND last July...but, guess what?!!!  Within only a couple of weeks AFTER I made it to LEGEND (and trust me, it wasn't easy)....then, WGT added the TOUR LEGEND tier.  Well...I sort of figure now....if I keep at it, I may make it to the TOUR LEGEND tier in 5 or 6 months, but, am I the ONLY member to believe once I do reach that next tier.....WGT will create a NEW one...and maybe call it....SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS LEGEND!!!!

  It doesn't MATTER if you post a very nude profile photo....write filth in your profile...lose 25 (of the most expensive NIKE balls) every day......YES, there are WGT rules...but, even those seem to CHANGE (without our even knowing).

  Want to know WHY you haven't yet heard from WGT???.......Because, bottom line here is......this WGT golf site was created with ONLY (1) thing in mind......to earn $$$$$$ and LOTS of it.  It's a BUSINESS!!!  Hey, JF.....if you also want to become a MULTI-MILLIONAIRE....just create your own "game website" like WGT did....*smile*

  Hang in there......and just ENJOY the golf (I mean, "what's a mother to do, right"?) *smile*

  This post has become like a me having to visit Milo(old forum post of mine) ........Anyway I know WGT is business, and yes they have every right to generate revenue as they see fit.  The guidelines, structure and play ability are as they see fit for their business model.  Me, I have no problem with this at all.  As far as becoming a millionaire playing here (chuckle, chuckle) it doubt that will occur with me, I have given away far more credits/equipment then i could ever win playing RG's, MP's and skins.  I play here for the fun and camaraderie (oh the competition is a bit fun also).  We *** and moan here as players, but quite honestly WGT has a pretty entertaining game here.  Players who find their niche here can have a pretty good time playing here and meet some nice people.  

  So voicing my concerns about a particular subject that i feel is important for the longevity of the site does not translate into any other criticism of WGT.  

  I play , I enjoy,  just wish I could sometimes resolve the finger/brain miss communication issues sometimes.

  Enough players lets move on, if there are cheaters the hell with them. I mean really look at the time we waste about something you can,t do a damn thing about. As far as i am concerned cheaters , multi accounts , what ever is no big deal to me. I feel that if some of you are this concerned you must have more at stake than the rest of us. I play for the love of the game , i don,t play for credits if i did i would,nt cry when i got my azz handed to me. If a player really thinks there are cheats then don,t play for credits, just play,. I  never thought i would see grown ups worry there self ovwer a damn kids game lol get real enjoy manage your own game & let the cheaters go there way ... Move on players life is short have fun be pleasant & GOD BLESS YOU ALL ..........
