So, what now?

    Have to hand it to the surgeon, good job. Back home less than 48hrs after knife was put to skin. Thanks to everyone for their well wishes.

    They give you this leaflet to take home with all the "dos and dont's" including the order not to have sex for six weeks. I did try and lighten the mood by saying to the nurse "What about oral sex?" and she looked at me and said "Sorry, I'm a little busy at the moment".

    LMAO, unlucky Graham. You know, nurses are underpaid, maybe a backhander could have worked, lol.

    Vielen dank alosso mein freund. The HIO is a nice surprise but I'm hoping the new hip will be a life changer. Although I won't be able to compete in the one legged a*se kicking contest at the next Paralympics in Rio.
