    Adalanar:

I understand that an unlimited qualifier for the US Open makes money for WGT. Ball consumption might be highest on the holes No1 thru 4.

But I really think the qualifier need some change - here is my proposal for next year (or maybe this years OPEN)

1Rd Qualifier:   Unlimited for 4 weeks - Cut 1280 best players

2.RD Qualifier: Unlimited for 3 weeks - Cut 640 best players

    3. Rd Qualifier: Unlimited for 2 weeks - Cut 320 best players

    4. Rd Qualifier: Unlimetd for 1 weeks , Cut at 160 players

I think this could bring even more playing to the Qualifier and give WGT more earnings.

    Cheers

Unfortunately it appears that we are not getting The Open again this year. If we were I think we would already have Muirfiled front 9 CTTH.

Great idea, I think the PGA tour should also give me a spot each week as well.

Well actually in 2010 when we got Oakmont it was the ladies U.S. Open course that year. The men's Open that year was Pebble Beach. But for the British  Open I don't think the R&A would allow an non British Open course to be used.

thanks for the reply borntobesting helpful as always

i wasnt around in 2010 well on wgt that is ;)

if we dont get the open this year  then the R&A are a waste of time and wgt should try and make contract agreements with someone else

is there a way of tapping into the european market or courses in dubai i dont know just some thing to get 2 HD courses, im not a fan of the tru golf courses.

    :)

the R&A aren't stopping WGT from delivering a 2nd HD course every year. any astute business would have had a plan B in place months ago considering the HUGE letdown last year.

to be the best, you need to retain the quality of the product and deliver the goods time and time again without fail or else the future will be waxy to say the least.

entertainment businesses which have a habit of letting their customers down tend to crash & burn sooner or later. tiger woods online's troubles shouldn't be seen as a bonus for WGT....it should be seen as a warning of how tides can change when you take an online community for granted and let things slide.

"ok ...no British Open guys BUT we managed to reach an agreement with another fantastic venue and it'll be here in July / August." <-------- This is what people will want to hear....not another freakin' letdown.

wgt need to have a good look around them because they're eventually gonna leave the door wide open for some clever bunch with great ideas, a great looking game & the financial clout  to follow it through successfully...a bit like perfect parallel but with a hugely charismatic team running it & real financial support backing the product all the way from start to release date meeting any deadlines on time, giving their customers 100% satisfaction without fail.

i want WGT to succeed. i want them to crush any competition...i only want the best for this game and the players who play it.

just don't let things slide :)

(I can't wait to see how this PP venture goes, give it 6 months and people will be just the same there...inevitable really)

    lol...PP.

give it 6 months & they still be announcing it's coming soon.

probably be saying "coming soon" this time next year and the year after.

if you ordered your daily groceries from that bunch they'd probably take 6 months to deliver them.

ain't HD graphics & it ain't gonna be web browser based so it's already kicked into touch AFAIC.

although the fat guy in the golf hat posting vids from his bedroom does look uncannily like a bloated version of Chad.....Same colour pullover....same colour cap and same couple of days unshaven stubble....YIKES! Call Yancy.....It's like an alien clone gone wrong. :)

Hello can we have a Separate Open for those who cant shoot in the 50s.

If they did that - it wouldn't be an Open anymore.

If can't run with the big dogs, you don't get to piss on the tall trees.

I'm tied with a bunch of other Legends little dogs in 1212th place with a  best score on Merion of 65 (-5). My best ever 18 hole regulation course round so far was a 61.

    I scored a 48 on an all Par 3 track (Par 54).

The Open cut is currently 58 (12 under par). We have until the end of June to up our game and qualify.
