I realize the competition is over, but is there any way I can play the CTTH challenge for fun?  Can't find a way over on the klmopengame.nl site.

1st of all to Sean, no offense intended. I too am a tater eater of Irish decent {I love em any way you can think of preparing them}. You could call me a cheesesteak eater as well as I am from the Philly area. You could call me anything you want to as "names will never hurt me". In todays PC world it seems we all are a bit oversensitive when it comes to characterizations of ourselves & that I feel is a shame. More humor!! Less sorrow.

Regarding this poorly handled tourney, WGT & KLM really screwed the pooch here.At least some people received useless ticket prizes on short notice. It appears that I am shut out of winning a prize at all w/ my 9th place final standing. My standing was too high {4th & then 6th} around 9/6/10 when ticket packages were awarded via e-mail & I did not receive an E-mail notice. In the next 6 days my standing dropped, eventually finishing in 9th place. The prizes for 6-9th place have already been awarded so I am shut out? This hardly seems fair & I am a bit pissed as a great deal of time & effort was put in as well as @ least 4 sleeves of GISD balls. WgtSKY, What sayeth you about this inequity?

    that sucks.

I would have thought a gesture of goodwill to all winners as per the T's and C's on the WGT website was in order but I would not hold your breath....write to the Chief executive of KLM .. cant imagine he /she would be too impressed by the damage caused to their brand by the way things have been handled.

    Hi,

Think that a well meant initiative went out of hand a bit...For me, as golf-lover and player, this is a game which I enormously enjoy playing. Winning prices for me is not important. Investing in clubs and balls is an extra and does not cost a lot.

I agree that giving away prices in this way is not very clever. Giving away tickets to people from far way is not very handy, to say the least....

Playing a round of golf on pretty courses with other people from all over the world with a program that is free of charge is good enough for me.

Glad to hear to the course will be playable in the future, Will play the course in a couple of weeks and look forward to that.

Know the tournement-director, Daan Slooter, myself and he lives in Noordwijk where I also live. Will ask him about all this the first time I speak with him...

Kind regards and enjoy your game.....

    Anton Will van Zoelen

Well, it is much appreciated. Maybe they'll stick around and bring the European Tour with them.

I was disappointed in the way this tournament was conducted. Those acquainted with me know I am not one to complain, but WGT blew this big time.  They need to fix this or the goodwill and trust they have fostered will be lost.

As mentioned earlier, the T&C indicated the tournament would end on Sep 12, when apparently, ticket prizes were distributed well before that date, with nothing about this in the T&C.  Yet the T&C continued to say that the tournament ends on Sep 12 and the ticket prizes were available.

Yes, I understand tickets need to be distributed in time to attended the tournament but for that matter, the tickets could have been for 2011 for all I know.  What really bothers me, was I, along with others (I'm sure), continued playing in good faith, expending credits for balls, and all the while being mislead about prizes that were apparently not available.

If I missed something, my apologizes.

    Joey

You could only avail of the Golf Lessons if you were from the Netherlands - one of the winners can't use the lessons.

Come on WGT get your act together.

Prizes that can't be used are not worth a damn

Anton, Did you get to speak to the tournament director of KLM open yet? As usual there is no response from WGT
